“I love this American restaurant, the food is delicious, satisfying and enjoyable. I especially love the burgers and fries, they are freshly made and very authentic. In addition, the environment here is also very comfortable and spacious, which makes people feel very relaxed and happy. The waiters are also very friendly and welcoming, they always greet guests with a smile and provide many useful tips and recommendations. “We are visiting from Indiana and my husband, myself and our toddler had a wonderful experience! Our food was great and came very quickly. Our pomegranate margaritas were delicious. My husband ordered a side of bacon to go with his salad and the kitchen took the extra step to cut it up for him when they didn't have to. And while the restaurant is an upscale mature environment, they were extremely accommodating to our toddler and were so very friendly and warm to our family. From the hosts, to our waiter, to each employee who passed by everyone was so warm and welcoming. We will 100% return!“

“I went for a friends graduation brunch, and it was definitely a hopping spot in the city, and I can see the appeal for the rooftop views alone, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you’re getting in my opinion. I had the biscuits and gravy ($25) which was fine but also strange in that it tasted more like a chowder than gravy. I also got the chocolate chip cookies which were and came in an order of 3 for $12. As I said, a bit overpriced for cookies, but actually felt worth it for their size and deliciousness. Of course, part of why you’re coming here is for the views and this place did not disappoint! Despite it being a very hot day outside, there was a good crowd out there especially because there’s a bar on the patio as well. And even though it was very busy throughout the entire time there, my party and I had fairly consistent service, although I did have my drink order forgotten, but the server ended up comping me for it, which made up for it.“

“We visited this place on a whim on Sweetest Day. We had to pivot from our original plan, called at the last minute and was able to take the 9:15p slot. We had to wait for our table so we ordered drinks at the bar. My mule was good and my date enjoyed her wine. For my entree, I ordered the Roasted chicken served of spinach and mash potatoes. The chicken could have used more seasoning, but overall it was good. My dates entree was the Spicy Chicken sandwich, she said it was good, but it really wasn’t spicy. The sides dishes we ordered are Creamed Spinach and Mac & cheese. We disliked both dishes. The Mac & Cheese needs way more cheese. I received complimentary dessert because we were there celebrating my birthday too. The carrot cake was ??? and the vanilla bean ice cream was good too.“

I loved the pita bread and hummus on the appetizer plate. I will definitely get it again. Round two, we had fried chicken, croquettes and pizza. The chicken is super delicious. It was fried very well and the sweet sauce was great. I liked the pizza, although it was closer to flatbread because the crust was very flat and thin. Nice beer list. The cocktail list could be more impressive. Service is very friendly and attentive. Five stars!“

I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a great experience!“

“This is possibly the most amazing place I think I’ve ever eaten. I had the mushroom omelette with a Greek bread toasted.
The servings are extremely large. Someone back there really knows how to make an omelette. It is so fluffy.
Now if you think that can’t get any better the topper is they offer ice cream with your breakfast for dessert .
I was here on the marathon weekend this Sunday so it was extremely chaotic and they just really handled it so well .

Most servings are sharable and are not a whisper of food requiring a trip to Superdawg after to feel as if one has dined. Great wings. Fine Poke. Consider room for desert, as they are very good. Coffee from Dark Matter (Chicago's best). Today we tried the Greek town salad. quite stylish, and delicious. Also, a better dollar value than other high end places IMHO.“

“I love the upscale sports bar atmosphere and the food put me in a place where I continously wanted to be there. Me and the wife had the wings, tuna and the lamb chops and all were on point. The lamb chops were definitely some of the best I've had in Chicago and I would even go as far as saying that Lyra definitely has some competition with the chops.“

“I have been here twice and I love the intimate setting. I also have loved the entertainment. I saw Chrisette Michelle & Eric Benet. They both were amazing. The seats are too close. I think at the large tables there should be 2 less chairs. You all have not considered the fact that some people are large and take up a lot of space. This makes it uncomfortable for others.“

“Today I visited Taste 222 with my high school friend and I have to say, the atmosphere was fantastic—warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The service was mostly attentive, which made for a pleasant visit. However, when it came to the food, I was disappointed. I ordered the Southern Catfish Combo, expecting a hearty meal, but what I received didn’t match the advertised portion. Instead of two full pieces of catfish, it was just one filet cut in half, which felt misleading. Unfortunately, my experience was further dampened by an interaction with one of the waiters. While handing us our takeout boxes, he went out of his way to avoid any contact with our hands, which felt uncomfortably intentional. Moments like this can leave a lasting impression, and it was disappointing to experience such behavior in an otherwise well-regarded establishment. Overall, while the ambiance was great, the food and certain aspects of the service left much to be desired. I hope to give them another try in the future under better circumstances.“
