“My sister Shelly Nagy purchased tickets to a Sunday afternoon drag brunch to celebrate my birthday! Marco not only held the door open for his guests, but he was also very kind and generous! He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! The music was a hit (inside and out) and the upscale atmosphere will always have me anxiously waiting to come back soon! “So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. “This is one of my favorite vegan Mexican restaurants. Chef Patricia is so sweet. I almost always get the Carne Asada burrito but I’ve loved everything I have tried. The nachos & tacso are so good too. The peanut butter cookies are probably the best I’ve ever had. I love the chocolate mini Bundt cake.“

I lost 1st place by two points, probably because the judge can't add, but whatever. And yes, those are hotdogs in the picture. We made chili dogs. Their cream of chicken soup is good too.“

They have sidewalk seating, which is a cute little area with some shade, but along busy Lake street. I returned here several times over the past few months, particularly for the food. “

The flavors and rich and balanced and the best soup ive ever had and I look for the best ramen, pho, noodle soups, and etc... the soup dumplings incredible and the perfect size. The grandma's fried rice is delightful, and worth it. The Cheng Du dumplings were good but I would skip them for the rest of the dishes listed here, and the Dan Dan Noodles unfortunately didnt have any flavor and wouldn't get those again. “Had a burger and it was just ok. It comes open face and I couldn’t get the bread unstuck to make it a sandwich. Asked for blue cheese olives in my Bloody Mary and I got one. Really?!? Couldn’t get refills on my water. The waitress disappeared till it was check time and then she came over. It was very busy though.“

“I judge breakfast spots by their staff and their oatmeal. Louie's wait staff are amazing. They're friendly, fast, and have never made a mistake on an order. Louie also has the BEST oatmeal in all of Chicago! I don't know what all the ingredients are, but it makes magic out of oatmeal!“
