“Of all the McDonald's I've been to, and that's a lot at 62, this location is my favorite. My food is hot, served quickly, or asked to pull forward but not for long. If you don't want to have a wait, I wouldn't go there on the weekends. They are busy and you might have to wait.“

“Excellent little local coffee shop right here in Carbondale near campus and exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble across on a rainy morning. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of personality without trying too hard. Service was genuinely kind and helpful from the moment I walked in, and you could tell this is a regular stop for a lot of locals and students alike.

The inside has a very relaxed vibe with plenty of seating whether you want to study, catch up with friends, or just enjoy some quiet time with a coffee. Prices were very fair, the drinks hit the spot, and I highly recommend grabbing one of their souvenir mugs while you’re there.

If I were a student here, this would absolutely become one of my regular spots. Visiting parents and travelers take note — this is a great little place to add to your radar when passing through Carbondale.“

“We had a great meal here—the food was definitely the highlight. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. That said, we did have to wait a bit to be seated, and the restaurant was really busy, so the service felt a bit slow and scattered at times. It’s understandable given how packed they were, but it did impact the overall experience slightly. Still, if you're not in a rush and want a tasty meal, it's worth a visit.“

The are very considerate and understanding, if you don’t like a drink they will remake it no questions asked. Also they make some of the best coffees. Like genuinely I have a hard time finding a starbucks that does all of my customizations, like marion starbucks they never do, but the literally make it exactly how i like it every. single. time. “This whole shopping center is wonderful every time I go here I love it so many things to look at always have something going on the people are great the countryside is great it's a nice experience kid friendly the whole thing if you get a chance everybody should go at least check it out“

“They remodeled the Starbucks and it looks great! The seating area is smaller now, which kinda sucks, but there’s still enough space to sit. The menu’s the usual Starbucks stuff. With the new setup, you can order online and pick up in store. The staff are always super friendly.“

“I love this coffee shop. It is in SIU's Morris Library and has hours specific to when the library is open. It is usually closed when the students are off for breaks, too. They have a punch card, so the more drinks you buy, you get one free eventually. The coffee is good, staff is very friendly and they will do special requests. Sometimes you get $1 coffee in late afternoon, which is awesome.“
