“An amazing hidden gem in the heart of Albany Park! There are few Colombian restaurants in Chicago, but this one competes to be on the top. The arroz paisa is a pleasure if you are a meat lover. The arepas are huge and delicious. Portions are what you pay for. Bring an appetite!“
“Didn't know this place existed. Always passed by but was going for some café con leche and a friend suggested we go here because they'd been there and thought it was good. They were not lying! So good that I ordered a 2nd cup! Ordered some appetizers and not the best ,but not the worst either. Columbian food in general is good and this place offers all sorts of items to choose from. We tried at least one of each of the main staple Columbian delicacies- pan de bono, pan de bono with guava , pan de bono con queso( our favs)YUM! And well, it's very very good, the baristas make good café con leche! . The best part, not only does their coffee and food menu offer a good variety, they are open until 9pm daily.. I stop in for coffee here at least 3/4 x's a week. That's how good the coffee and treats are. If you decide to sit and enjoy, the salsa music playing over the speakers will keep you dancing in your seat.. their staff are all attentive and very friendly ,making the whole experience nice. Tip, if you order any of the pan de bonos or empanadas, ask that they warm them up for ( they are alot better warmer. This place is a winner !“

“I would eat more but stomach has a limit. I have been visiting this place for years and I have tried everyone the menu. Never disappointed. I always go for the churrasco and the carne asada. I recommend highly the chimichurri with extra lime. You'll be in heaven after that.“
“Hole in the wall Colombian restaurant in Humboldt park, featuring an intimate interior and very friendly staff accommodating of dietary restrictions. The arepas here were delicious, but my favorite dish was the ajiaco- a hearty soup featuring three different types of potatoes and shredded chicken. This is quite literally the perfect dish for a cold Chicago winter day. Must try this place!“
“If you're looking for Latin American food products like Goya, etc. this is the place to go on the north side. Also, the restaurant in back is great for Latin American dishes. Whether you like Cuban, Mexican or some other country, you can probably find the product you're looking for or the already prepared dish in the restaurant. I recommend“
“It's great, a place that reminds you of being in the little land, the paisa tray is great, I loved the chicken, the attention, the atmosphere, the music, highly recommended...Parking: The times I went there was always a parking space even though it was Sunday at noonKid-friendliness: It's a family atmosphere“

“This is some of the best pizza I've had in Chicago! Crispy crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. More delicious than some better-known pizza places in the city I've tried. Everytime I order delivery l also like to get a pan de huevo; it's rich, fluffy, and goes great with jam and butter. I'm so happy I found this hidden gem!“
“We've ordered a number of times from Brasa Roja. The wood fired whole rotisserie chicken is super flavorful and fantastic. I also recommend the juices, particularly the Soursop with milk (if you've never heard of Soursop aka Guanabana, give it a try!). Some sides are not as great as the chicken which is the only reason it's not 5 stars.“
“Far from my country ??, and suddenly finding this incredible and cozy restaurant gives me the joy of feeling the delicious Colombian food on my palate accompanied by sensational service.. if you are in Chicago, take the trip and you will surely know what to expect. I speak... 100% “
