Kids meals are free with adult purchase & the portions of my son’s teddy bear pancakes were huge! Actually portions of everything is huge. The churro French toast was incredibly delicious and included as a side to my omelette…small upcharge well worth it!! If ever in the area again it will be a must to to revisit!“

Pepperonis were also high quality, if there’s a problem it lies with the sauce. There's hardly any, not even close to enough on either their tavern or NY style. Order the NY style with extra sauce. The tavern is so thin that there’s barely any room for sauce, if you care. Still solid tavern.“

The “lamb delight” menu item was the best lamb I have ever had in a restaurant: tender, succulent, and prepared to perfection. The side salad accompanying it was not your ordinary side salad! My wife and I both enjoyed the Mixed Meze appetizer plate. Each of the five items was quite good but the muhammara was to die for. We ended our meal with tea, baklava and kubralice. The décor and ambience were refreshing and relaxing, and the service was outstanding. The pricing was very reasonable. Please give it a try. We do not think you will be disappointed.“

“The concept for the menu is a unique trip along the Pan-American highway with stops at various Latin countries. Each dish and drink is thoughtful in its ingredients and presentation. The jicama salad was refreshing, but not at all plain. The pastel de choclo was a wonderful surprise of a warm dish. The frozen el arenal was seriously dangerous in how delicious it was, I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was perfect. We are so thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood and can’t wait to see what they do in the future!“

“There’s lots of options to choose from (more on the sweeter side). Heads up, this is a grab and go bakery, therefore, there is no indoor seating (only a bar to stand at outside). They will also not heat up the pastries :/

It did not really taste like it had chocolate… it was still delicious, but it tasted more like an apples strudel and banana bread mix—yummy but not chocolate babka lol

This didn’t hit it for me :/ If you know you love gruyère cheese, then I say give it a go, if you’re unsure, probably try something else?

The customer service was phenomenal; the main server was highly attentive and polite. I loved their pad thai; literally tasted perfect compared to other pad thai dishes from other restaurants. My friend and I ordered their pork pot stickers as well, and they were absolutely divine. The dough was almost sweet and it paired well with the sauce and pork given in the dish. Do not even get me started on the chicken satay. The marinade and peanut sauce for this appetizer exceeded my expectations. Super juicy and flavorful. I use to go to the one on Randolph, but I no longer work in the city so today I took the Metra to the one that’s just a 5 minute walk from the OTC station and this location did not disappoint. I love their veggie blend, the juice that they put on it makes it a 10/10 & it’s honestly the reason I come here. I usually get the salmon with the veggie blend but today I tried the grains and I was not a fan, so Kim and Jose made it right. Kim is so pleasant, attentive and had great customer service. I can see why Jose won the “extra mile” award, he remade my meal which was totally unexpected but very much appreciated and him going the extra mile for me means I’ll keep going the extra miles on the Metra for my Brown Bag. Jose was very personable, kind and helpful. Thank you!

It can get crowded so if you don't want to sit at the bar, book a reservation. And get the Oh My Caramel Pie!!“

Family-owned businesses are typically the ones that have the best food because they do not necessarily look into mainstreaming menus and recipes. with smaller restaurants, you can typically find amazing price opportunities as well as some unique food that has not been released to the broad market. It almost makes locations like this become a treasure if you come across them. Huge shout-out for Lola's. Amazing dogs, burgers, shakes! give them a try when you get the chance. “In this neck of O’hare, it’s the healthiest option, and at least when I went, not a bad one at all. A precious reviewer apparently had awful batches of food, but my chicken was just fine, and for a total of $15 I had a very large chicken salad chock full of veggies, plus eggs and chickpeas. Their house made honey mustard is really good. I’d skip the “smoothies” as they’re made of cartons of cream sludge, but the salad saved the day, and was served with a smile.“
