“Gracie O’Mallys provided the best food and drink experience I’ve had in a long time in the city. The atmosphere was fantastic, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service from our server, Tina. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was at the table every few minutes making sure we were NEVER thirsty. She had a smile on her face the entire time and was such a pleasure. I’ve never experienced better service anywhere—highly recommend this place!!!!!“

“As a tourist the night shift was good. Went during the day got a huge hold in my card for 1 drink. Ordered a second, stepped outside to smoke someone picked up my drink and snaked right after I went outside and the bartender acted like this was a normal thing. Embarrassing! (Edit) The bartender did make an effort to go out of her way to make sure I felt accommodated after the incident and took what I had to say to heart. Preemptive review, exactly that. Not too shabby. Check it out.“

They had a great beer selection, and the prices were right. I wish I'd have gotten our server's name because she was such a sweet heart. She helped us at one of the bigger high tops that line the wall. If ownership sees this, please make sure she knows all the New Orleans people really enjoyed getting to hang with her. “This is a cute, tiny little bar tucked into the lobby of an apartment building. The bar itself has a shockingly classic trendy dive bar atmosphere. Drinks are a little pricy, but the cocktails are fantastic, unique, and quite strong. There are few seats in the bar itself, but the lobby of the building has couches where it seems you can bring your drinks out and lounge. The building is dog friendly, so the bar seems to be as well. I brought my dog. The lobby was a bit brighter and less sexy than the bar, but still a nice place to hang out. They were playing a football game on a projector in the lobby but without sound so it didn’t disrupt the vibe. The bartender was really friendly and apparently he came up with one of the really good cocktails. The bathrooms in the lobby are gendered, but they share a sink area. I didn’t see any single-user or nongendered bathrooms.“

“Love both locations I've visited: Lakeview and Wicker Park. Do wish they'd bring back the grilled cheese with ham and bacon. Only problem I've had is the extremely loud music. I visit at least once a month, and the music is always too loud to have a conversation. Stopped meeting up with friends because we can't hear each other.“

We came around 5pm today on May 4th-with your Latina Server (Jasmine or Yasmine) and she was ATROCIOUSLY & horrendously impertinent. We asked her for a dirty Martini, a buena basket, and if they had High Noons. She replied, “Did you look at the menu?”. I’ve been a server and know that’s not how you address your patrons- YOU SUGGEST A SIMILAR ITEM {tonta pendeja}. Then she wanted to comment on my Klein’s ice latte-saying we can’t bring outside drinks. BYE. EXCUSE ME. HOW VERY DARE YOU! Upon future visits— I Will request another server if available. No ma’am.“

“Such an amazing spot! A great addition to the neighborhood! The service is amazing, everyone who works here is so friendly, kind and attentive. The food is great (the santi spring rolls is a hit on the salty side however). This spot is not just great as a local spot, but also worth a trip. The outdoor patio area is so nice and has music and indoors, there’s a really charming atmosphere with a fireplace. Love it!“

“This is a really nice spot to hang out. It's quiet enough you can have a conversation and they have sports on the multiple TVs. When the weather is nice, they also have outdoor seating. The bar staff is friendly. They also have probably my favorite food in all of Avondale. I highly recommend the wings or the nachos, but everything I've had is very quality.“
