“We recently attended an engagement party at Goldie’s. The party was originally scheduled as an outdoor event but was forced to go inside at the last minute. Goldie’s ownership allowed the party to use their location, opened early and provided bar service for all attendees. All with less than 24 hours notice! Claire, the bartender, came in early and was exceptional. Highly recommend for special events or to just stop in for a drink!“

The atmosphere was fantastic, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service from our server, Tina. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. “As a tourist the night shift was good. Went during the day got a huge hold in my card for 1 drink. Ordered a second, stepped outside to smoke someone picked up my drink and snaked right after I went outside and the bartender acted like this was a normal thing. Embarrassing! (Edit) The bartender did make an effort to go out of her way to make sure I felt accommodated after the incident and took what I had to say to heart. Preemptive review, exactly that. Not too shabby. “I won't rate the food because it's only snacks. They do have menus from nearby restaurants though, which is really cool.

This is a wonderful cocktail bar. The bartenders are really good at what they do. I think Luke is usually working when I go there? He is really good at what he does and super fun to watch. Very precise and intentional with the way he makes drinks.

I always feel very welcome and relaxed here. It is sort of strange that it is in the base of an apartment complex. I think if I lived here I would be a bit weirded out by all of these strangers in the lobby of my building.

It's nice to get drinks and then go wherever in the lobby, at the bar, or out in the back patio area of the building.

“Really wanna give the service a SIX OR TEN! Evidently they were short staffed last night. We came in around 630 and we're seated quickly. Beer selection was triumphant, including global, national, regional, and local. Food was limited, but with some excellent choices that we LOVED! That's not the story.
THERE WAS ONE WAITRESS! And she ran that joint like a Swiss clock! She had outside tables, inside tables, annoying special requests and questions from us, etc. But she handled it like a CHAMP.
So I eased up to the bar to ask the bartender if he could pass along my admiration to the manager. He was the manager, but our waitress was the OWNER!

The food is great (the santi spring rolls is a hit on the salty side however). This spot is not just great as a local spot, but also worth a trip.
