“I usually give them a five on everything. But unfortunately the meat was very fatty. My shells was not fully cooked. Meat wasn’t cooked well. This was my first bad experience with them. They were closing and gave me half of a taco. Please do better with the meat portion. I spent my last few dollars because I’m pregnant and was craving for these tacos and the sauce. I was crying because I’m emotional because of my baby and I wanted to taste of these tacos. ?. I’m still gon come back. But if they taste the same again I won’t never return.“

“I've been wanting to go to this restaurant because I heard so much about it.So I had my son take me. The food was okay, very overpriced. they have a special from 3 to 6. The only way you find out is when you go in the bathroom and look at the wall, the advertisement. tacos are from $5-7 dollars. 😒“

“I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

“My granddaughter and I found Meshico when looking for a place to eat while in Chicago for a weekend. Highly recommend! The food was wonderful and the portions are large. The guacamole is the best I’ve had!! We loved it and will definitely be back the next trip to Chicago and will tell everyone to check it out when in Palos Heights!!“

“Food is top of the line with massive portions. You won't be disappointed. Ate inside at the bar and got to know the bartender Lou who I think is the owner. Awesome dude. Whipped me up one of the best margs I've ever had! Highly recommend!“

“This is how you open up a restaurant and keep business coming. They’re clean, respectful and is full of life. Prices are responsible and everything is good. They’re fast and efficient. I love this Mexican spot and I will continue to come. They don’t have liquor so if you’re coming to get drunk, I wouldn’t suggest. But for food. 10/10“

“Food was fresh I ordered two steak tacos, a steak quesadilla, chips and guacamole. The chips were thin and crispy I literally ate the whole page and wanted more. Guacamole was fresh and not bland at all. Tacos were juicy and steak seasoned well not too salty and it wasn’t any fat which I appreciate that. I will be ordering again before the week is out“

“Vegetarian options: Menu is not vegetarian but if you for your plate to be modified they will make sure that it is. All of their food is authentic they make it, the owner is very friendly will say hi and welcome to everyone. Very welcoming!“

“Went in tonight and Girl is wiping her nose with her hand and then packing food and carrots/peppers. Made me sick to my stomach seeing her touch my food with WHATEVER secretions were on her hand! “I have lived here in the heights for many years and this is the first time I have eaten here and let me tell you, this restaurant is one of the best Mexican restaurant ever..The waitress I had was named Julie, she pleasant and courteous. “I have visited this place several times, and what I liked the most was the guacamole, made with fresh avocados, but unfortunately this last time I went, the guacamole was not made with fresh avocados, it was made with bagged avocado paste, I know that everything has gone up in price, and one understands that it costs more to make guacamole with fresh avocados. and personally I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for guacamole with fresh avocados.I really felt disappointed“

“We have been coming to this little hidden Gem in the BP Gas Station for years. Most authentic food around town. When you see everyone within the community coming here it shows our support for local business. The prices might be a bit high, but the food is worth every penny you spend.
