I went to Krave Restaurant in Bridgeview last week and really liked it the staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. The place is cozy and easy to feel comfortable

We had the Lamb Chops & Eggs and it was really good the lamb was tasty and eggs cooked just right. Also tried the waffles they were light and fluffy with bacon and eggs really hit the spot. Portions are big so you leave full

“First the food was actually really great. The Korean ribeye was what I’ve been missing being a California native that’s used to eating Polynesian and Asian food. Pizza, Spinach dip, and the Martinis was not the best but good fruit mixes. Despite a few mix ups my sisters and I enjoyed the place. BIG ovation to the manager on duty Monday evening that listened and addressed the issue promptly. The staff are very professional and I’m looking forward to another visit soon. Great job guys!!!“

“I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs. Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty? I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?“

“We dined at Topaz in August 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated in a comfortable booth. A special mention goes to our server, Sasa, who was incredibly attentive and provided great suggestions. He even surprised us with complimentary limoncellos, which were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus and hummus—both prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we chose the Dover sole and Amish chicken. These dishes were exceptional and stood out as some of the best we've ever had. The potatoes served with the sole were also a delightful surprise. Portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. We highly recommend Topaz and will definitely be returning!“

“We get this for takeout a lot, but you have to try the Fire Chicken Sandwich. It's one of my absolute favorites! The combination of pickled onions and jalapeños, topped with a sweet and spicy mango habanero sauce, is just incredible. And the cilantro garlic fries are the perfect side, especially when you dip them in the creamy ranch dressing.“

Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There were so many flavors and they all blended so dang well. They even had some unique beer option that we brought home. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it“

“Fabulous food, drinks and service. The decor is modern and comfortable. Staff was very attentive and allowed us to stay after dinner and you didn't feel rushed. Lighting was lowered while we were there but that touch added to the ambiance. The meal was delicious and larger than expected at a fair price. We had burgers with roasted potatoes that were seasoned perfectly. Staff made sure we had water as compared to many establishments where you have to ask for a glass of water. Will return to try other items on the menu. Parking on the street and in a lot which you can access in the middle of the block was nice.“

The bathroom needs to be gutted. It’s terrible. I got water all over my self from something leaking. Looks like they have put 30 coats of paint over everything. It’s falling apart in there! The lighting in the bar was terrible. It literally feels like I’m in a dark basement. She was attentive, efficient, and friendly. She accommodated a party of 15 and made it look easy. We never had to look for her because she was constantly making her rounds and checking on us. “My Fraternity Brother Anthony Williams and partner Byron Diggs when not bringing great joy as a part of the Our Lady of Our Lady of Africa Parish, Chicago Eucharistic Ensemble have a great Cafe in Maywood right off of I 290. It is called Meal of the Day and has some great southern cuisine in an establishment on the 4th floor of a business complex overlooking I 290. It is appointed with some great art from notable black artists . There is also a banner from Hales Franciscan Class of 1979 , not sure what that’ s all about .. lol! They also do on site catering and have fed the masses after masses at their home church . Check them out ! My fraternity brother has been telling me for years to make the drive and wifey and I finally did and it was so worth it ! .“

“First timer, walked into restaurant with a wonderful greeting. The shrimp ane calamari appetizers were amazing. Did not enjoy my Entrée especially the Mac and cheese. It was too soupy. Asked for another one and the same type of soupy consistency was delivered. Dessert was meant to have a good presentation but toppled over before arriving at the table but was still served to me.
