“I can't believe I'm about to give this taco bell 5 stars but I have to b/c what a difference new employees can make!! The crunchy tacos were filled like they used to be back in the day & the service was professional, welcoming & quick. We've given this place a try a few times when it opened but the service was horrible & took forever & forget about ever trying to go in there to eat. Hopefully they keep this up b/c Culver's next door is loaded w/ cars & the line would still move faster.“

“Absolutely amazing! I don't normally make a habit of eating from a restaurant inside a gas station but I'm SO glad I looked at the reviews and gave this place a try. I had the best burrito I've ever had! This place was incredibly clean and they make your food right in front of you. I also appreciated the great service and friendliness of Keenan and Manager Bay. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again! For reference - I ordered the carne asada burrito without beans and added avocado (pictured).“

“Burrito Express is great for take out. It may not have a lot of ambiance but the food is really good amd they are always friendly. I asked for fajitas with no peppers and onions for my son with food sensitivity, and they accommodated us with no issues. The quesadillas are really flavorful and filling. They are a go to for us.“

“I got the taco dinner and the nacho fries. First, the size of the taco dinner is actually really good for the price. I got double rice and no beans because I’m not a fan of refried beans. The nacho fries were HEFTY. I picked up the container and HOLY MOLY! It was A LOT of food! Definitely a great price! Will be ordering again!“

“I LOVE the jerk chicken tacos, they are so FYE!!!! Whoever would”ve thought or known that a Mexican/Latino place can make jerk chicken tacos BETTER than these African places and I STAND on that! I don’t even get any sauce because it’s not needed. Im hooked to the point I haven’t even tried anything else on the menu besides the Mexican corn and it’s fye too! Eventually I will try other menu items but right now I just can’t get pass them JERK CHICKEN TACOS that I eat at least 3 times a week. They NEVER disappoint!“

A total of $19 plus taxes would be $21 and they charged me $27. I asked why and they told me taxes... the same thing happened to three other people at that time and the answer was the same. Once again the food was very tasty but tipping would have to be an option and believe me I always leave a good tip.“

“Stopped here on a whim. Right off expressway. Looks like it just opened but they have been there for about 3 years. And still looks brand new. Reasonable prices. Great customer service. Everything was fresh and hot. We had their tacos. Ground beef taco 10/10, chicken taco 10/10 they use shredded chicken which we appreciate, and their Al pastor which was tender, saucy and flavorful. Appreciate that they paired it with a wedge of lime 🍋‍🟩 we also tried their carne asada torta which was 10/10 love that they add guacamole and the bread was toasted to perfection on outside but still fresh and soft when you bite into it. We also had their elote which was a generous size. And their red and green salsa were both delicious 10/10. We also appreciate their fountain drink machine being well calibrated right amount of carbonation and syrup and their ice cubes were hollow cubes which as an ice chewer I appreciate. Definitely recommend and worth the drive.“

Pretty reasonably priced, I'd say. Paid under $30. The location of this specific restaurant is conveniently located 3 minutes away from my child's school! I will be back soon. “the salmon is fresh and delicious but too much salt i usually like salt but the cook needs too go easy on the salt and the shrimp and grits had too much salt.“

“Good place to drink. Food is pretty decent. Go when it's busy though if you are eating, otherwise the service is super slow. They don't tend to make rounds to check on you when there aren't alot of people.

Come for a drink anytime though, bartender is very attentive.“

“This place has amazing tacos de carnitas !!!! The meat was so tender and juicy. No fat on the tacos I had. It’s a 20 min drive from my house in Gary but man it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend. I had 2 tacos de carnitas 1 asada 1 apastor and 1 large agua de Jamaica. Total was $18“

She smiled and was friendly to only Mexican customers. It's sad that we are still experiencing this type of behavior in the 20the century. Business owners should be way more concerned with the value of their service and quality of food. We are spending money just like everyone else. It's the customers that keep business open not a color of skin or culture. I won't be back.“
