From what I recall, this breaded steak sandwich is just about as tasty as I have had since Ricobenes. Tony’s is excellent and messy as I have expected. Its very filling and well worth the price.

Also tried their italian beef, which was very good indeed. Balanced spices and saltiness was all there!!! But I do have my favorites that I lean on when I really need a fixin!!! But this was very good nonetheless.

This neighborhood joint is small and has limited seating, but the friendly staff made the dine-in meal a pleasant experience, albeit a bit confined. Most patrons order take-away. Will try to make it out again next time I am in the Midway area.“

“These guys have been on my list for a while and it was worth the wait. THIS IS PIZZA. Bridgeport phils still has my heart but this place just bumped into the 2/3 spot for me. TOP 3 Chicago pizzeria.

Crust: this is what did it for me. The crust was a perfect thickness and kept its structure/ crisp throughout the whole pizza

Sauce: they’re cooking down their own sauce I believe. It’s got a touch of that fresh tomato sweetness. Nothing over powering, just a great classic sauce

Sausage/cheese: high quality Battaglia products. Traditional cheese blend and good sausage. Nothing crazy in this category but definitely brings their pizza together

“I purchased 4 thin crust meatball pizzas on Goldbelly to be shipped from Illinois all the way to AZ. The pizzas were boxed and packaged beautifully and arrived still frozen. Now to the pizzas, generously topped with huge half meatballs- not the crumbled crap so many restaurants pull and your disappointed thinking where is the beef, I am sure I ordered meatballs not this.The sauce perfection, the crust perfect and lots of cheese. Everything a pizza should be and you just can’t get in AZ. Thank you for a job well done. “A hidden little gem across eisenhower high-school it's a tiny nostalgic hole in the wall place and they made the space cute. I came with my husband the first time today for the morning of our wedding. The coffee was fresh, hot, and the right kind of strong. I asked for three cups lol. I got the eggs Benedict and the food didn't come out too quickly, cause if it does it is a sign the food may not be entirely made from scratch. But the chef a older Hispanic male was doing the cooking and you can see into his kitchen set up he makes everything from scratch and doesn't cut corners. My husband got the tacos. The eggs Benedict was honestly the best I had, he actually made scratch made hollandaise sauce and the egg a perfect poach, he even topped the Hollandaise with a whisper of nutmeg. And the hashbrowns and bacon were the perfect amount of crispy. My husband liked his tacos he said they were seasoned well and it came with homemade red and green salsa. My husband is picky and if he doesn't like something he won't take left overs home, but he took his home and ate them after the wedding cause he said it was tasty. I told the waitress that no joke this was the most delicious breakfast I had in a long time- cause it was! They close at 3 cause they are a breakfast and lunch spot but support thus local business cause they are a true hidden gem! Will definitely go back 😄“

“I took My Daughter and 2 Grandsons to eat dinner on Friday, Dec 13th. Our server, Imani C, couldn't have been more irresponsible. 1st, My Grandson ordered a lemonade, and was brought a sprite. He kept it anyway. My Daughter ordered a SMALL salad, and was brought a LARGE one. ( was charged for large) and She kept that too. My Grandsons ordered a pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni. Got pepperoni on ALL of it. So as to not have them wait while my Daughter and I ate, We kept it also. My Daughter ordered My Son In Law a large order of Homer's donuts, only was given 3. Took My Son, Grandsons , and Husband to eat at Texas Roadhouse last week, and We all got steak dinners for the price we paid for Pizzas here!! Have eaten here numerous times before with no problems. The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly.
