“Came for lunch. Very impressed. The katsu don was a nice generous portion with a very large pork cutlet at least half inch thick and done superbly. Not overcooked and tough or soggy as they can get .The oyakodon was similarly scrumptious. Staff pleasant but the server seemed to be working the kitchen also but attentive to us. In strip mall with other businesses. I could see the parking may get tight if all are busy.“

“I haven't been to Alexander's in years and my last experience wasn't a good one. The food wasn't great and the service was terrible. This time was a complete 180° experience! The place has been renovated and looks very nice and very clean (including the very nice restroom). The food and service were, both, wonderful with nice selections on the menu. We went on a weekend, so they had a piano player who was very good. Even the prices weren't the usual "painful" experience of most restaurants. We will, definitely, return. I went because I was told they had improved, considerably, from what I remembered. They have!“

“We went today to the brunch cafe after Holy Mass in the am. It was fully packed but we didn’t wait long. We all ordered but my food came out a little late, the manager (at least I think so) personally apologized and said there was a mistake in the kitchen and they are preparing the food as we speak. Honestly, I didn’t mind, it’s fine not a big deal at all. I Waited maybe 5min longer that the others at my table. I got my food and it was very good. We enjoyed it all. The bill came and it turns out I got my meal that I was waiting for a little longer for free, managers discount. It was super nice. They didn’t have to do it. It wasn’t a big deal to me. But they cared and wanted us to have the best experience. It never happened to me before at any restaurant. Thank you 🙏“

“we spent our night tonight there together just myself and my fiance. we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The owners were the most wonderful people. It was nice and quiet just him and I with a little music in the background with nice dim lighting. The food was out of this world! We had the best appetizers, main dishes (pasta & pizza), drinks and the donuts as a treat from our amazingly friendly server was a fabulous ending to a great night! “They are by far the best dq in the suburbs. They are not stingy with toppings. Sure the price reflects that sometimes but will you rather pay $8 for a blizzard with 2 Oreo cookies in it or $10 for one with 8 Oreos in it? I love the Oreo blizzard and Reese’s. Though no fault of their own…I wish the Reese’s had less choco chunks and more peanut butter stuff ❤️. Regardless i appreciate them and always thank them!“
