“I haven't been to Alexander's in years and my last experience wasn't a good one. The food wasn't great and the service was terrible. This time was a complete 180° experience! The place has been renovated and looks very nice and very clean (including the very nice restroom). The food and service were, both, wonderful with nice selections on the menu. We went on a weekend, so they had a piano player who was very good. Even the prices weren't the usual "painful" experience of most restaurants. We will, definitely, return. I went because I was told they had improved, considerably, from what I remembered. They have!“

“We went today to the brunch cafe after Holy Mass in the am. It was fully packed but we didn’t wait long. We all ordered but my food came out a little late, the manager (at least I think so) personally apologized and said there was a mistake in the kitchen and they are preparing the food as we speak. Honestly, I didn’t mind, it’s fine not a big deal at all. I Waited maybe 5min longer that the others at my table. I got my food and it was very good. We enjoyed it all. The bill came and it turns out I got my meal that I was waiting for a little longer for free, managers discount. It was super nice. They didn’t have to do it. It wasn’t a big deal to me. But they cared and wanted us to have the best experience. It never happened to me before at any restaurant. Thank you 🙏“

Watermelon margarita was the best one in the flight we had. The Tequilla Old Fashion was fantastic! Definitely made new friends and will be back often“

“I’ve eaten at Bleuroot twice when traveling through Chicago for hockey trips. Every bite has been phenomenal and there have been many “Oh you’ve got to try this” shared plates. The staff are amazing and this is a place where it’s okay to be loud and boisterous and joyful.
