“Tonight I decided to venture out and try this restaurant my family has been RAVING about called Al’s Cafe in Downtown Elgin! I sat upstairs and had this lovely server named Marcie! She recommended the monthly special called “Moonstruck” and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The ambience, service and food is unmatched! If you are looking for a great night out I highly recommend Al’s Cafe!“

“I had the Beast double combo, added bacon , extra cheese and lettuce. I have to say, the burger was pretty good. I wish it had a little more sauce and mayo but it was really good. It's up there in price but you do get full. I would like if they had more advertising or anything to let you know it's a ghost menu. I drove around a few times because it was a pizza joint and couldn't see any signs of Mr beast burgers. I will be back but I hope Mr beast makes these adjustments.“

“Burger King in Elgin really lets you 'Have It Your Way'! My vegetarian girlfriend and I went on Sunday to try their new Philly Melts. The manager was super cool about making two Impossible patty versions for us. Those new sandwich buns were bomb too - they should definitely add a 'create your own burger' option with them. Staff is always friendly and goes the extra mile. Solid spot, will be back for sure.

“Is everything you want in a Chicago beef shack. The restaurant is clean and inviting with plenty of parking in the strip mall. I've had their beef before with catering and it's excellent, but this visit was the Chicago dog. It was perfect. Double dogs for a dollar. It's one of the better hot dogs in the area. The bun held up the entire time, even with two dogs and all the toppings. And it might sound silly, but the place has really good napkins. They are thick and stand up to the food that doesn't fall apart. Just saying. Don't miss Tuesdays with one dollar hot dogs. Definitely recommend. Also the fries and the combo are legit way better than portillos“
