“We stopped the Lake Mills Oasis on our way back to Wisconsin and could not resist picking up 6 cupcakes at a table they had there. AMAZING…. Embarrassed to say we ate all six in one day. Each one was incredible but I think the carrot cake was our favorite. Seriously best cupcakes we ever had!!!“

“OMG WOW! Amazing bakery! I go to tons of bakeries & I think this is the best one in Oak Park & one of the best in Chicagoland! I LOVED everything I tried from the cookies, to muffins to scones. Super high quality & extremely fresh products. Some of the pastries were still warm from the oven as I got there right at 8 am when they open. Even then, there was a little line out the door. Many people got coffee drinks but I didn’t this time. They also have $2 wonky cookies (just weirdly shaped cookies) that are a great deal. I tried: chocolate chip cookie, banana bread, vegan chocolate muffin (extra delish), goat cheese chili scone (excellent) & the wonky birthday cookie (amazing & buttery - melts in your mouth). Can’t wait to go back & try other things! Please note the place is tiny with only a few tables & chairs & there’s metered street parking so I took my order to go.

10.25.24 update: the kale salad done is truly amazing! The toasted coconut cake was sooo good and the chiffon cake was delightful. The savory corn biscuit was good but I preferred the scone, which is totally worth traveling for.“

“Today, 20 Sep my daughter brought home a dozen chocolate donuts. I was shocked when I opened the box. Apparently your bakery is downsizing the donuts. Much smaller and worse of all , what happened to the chocolate coating on the donuts. Did you run out? They use to be smothered with chocolate. Very disappointed.“

The store is too small and it’s confuse because there are two lines, one for order and one for pickup, because of the size of the store it’s kind a mess“

“This is the best Japanese bakery around. I have been coming here for years. The bread is so delicious you can eat it by itself and it is also the perfect bread for sandwiches and even French Toast. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. Sure, but you’re guaranteed your value if you order their chicken Parmesan style sandwhich. The Coppola. They filled this thing with a solid amount of chicken filets and it was delicious. I eat a lot and was only able to down half of it. Saved the rest for later so it provided me 2 meals. I think it’s a little silly that it’s one of the cheaper sandwiches considering it’s bigger. The only negative to my experience here was the fact that this is being ran out of the side of Il Poggiolos bar. The entrance door looks legitimate but once u enter it’s very tight and uncomfortable especially when Poggiolo is packed. Other than that I definitely recommend checking this place out!“
