“Kindly note that this is an adult wine and cocktail bar with carefully curated small plates, catering exclusively to a 21+ crowd. Great owners, staff, libations and eats. Served by Madison last night who was just delightful. No dress code but folks seem to take it up a notch from brewery wear.“

I know and understand a very old man..who passed away years ago complained and many other elderly people feel cold all of the time.. why must we regular peopke suffer with heat that goes on about every 2 minutes..the man us gone..do we have to suffer?? .. blasting heat..“

“Aaron the bartender is great! Thank you! So friendly, so kind. The drinks are super fun / cute, and I especially recommend the pina colada. The service is excellent, the vibe is very cute. Went on a Tuesday night around 9-10:30 - it was quiet which was nice, but livened up towards the end. The drinks could be a bit better which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5 - but I'll absolutely be back :)“

“Ummmmm, I do not remember being here. I must have had one hell of a time because I do not remember being here at all. I do not drink too often, so if I was here and did drink, that would explain a lot.I guess I had a great time. I hope I did not cause any trouble. If I did, I apologize. It's those dang Coronas and tequila mixers that do it every time!I hope I kept my clothes on and did not swing from any chandeliers upside down naked.If I did, I made it home safe, and thank you for not calling the police on me. “This is one of those hybrid biker/boater bars. Always a good crowd at bars like this.
And even on a Thursday there was a good, friendly crowd. I was the only biker but there were a bunch of fishermen hang out and the only people that drink more than bikers are fishermen!

“Low key bar, not a big place but cozy. They have slot machines but no pool tables ? Bartender was very attentive to our needs and came over to chat while I was playing my favorite slot machine, she also enjoyed playing the same game. I know this is random but the Women's bathroom door was the cutest ever. Outside looks like a small cramped but nope. It was surprisingly big and clean“

One of the highlights of our visit was Paula—she was absolutely fantastic. She has the warmest smile and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. She really went above and beyond, especially with her menu recommendations. I’m always looking for higher-protein options, and she knew exactly what to suggest. Everything she recommended was delicious and made it easy to stay on track without feeling like I was missing out.
Great service can make or break a place, and Paula truly made our visit memorable. We’ll definitely be back!“

“It is a very cozy and clean place, where you can enjoy sports or games of chance since it has gaming machines, the prices are quite affordable, they have a small menu, with very good flavor, the sandwich we ordered was accompanied by a delicious meat juice, good attention from the bartender, and you can play your music on the jukebox!“

“I liked it, nice clean facility. Nice big bar area, the grill was clean and the lady cook was very nice, i asked for my amburger in a special way and she accommodated me. My oakbrook OTB is my favorite, been going there for years, but nice to try someplace different. Hawthorne club is a great get away to relax and have fun.“

“Great atmosphere a friend of mine dragged me there and even though I am not much of a drinker and wasn't in a drinking mood they manage to warm me up to the idea with a corona on the house and how can I refuse it at that point it was cleared they ware more than just a bar I highly recommend this place great people tending towards customer service.“
“Been at Big Basin for about 9 years now, love it there. It's the closest to home and the lowest price of the three marina's on this section of the river. I just need a launch ramp and a dock, but have really enjoyed Big Basin. Parking lot gets a tad crowded on the weekends (of course).“

“Bartender Kerri is the best shes got a great personality very friendly. She should be the full time bartender there, she comes up with the best drinks. Known her for a long time she love what she does always has a smile on her face. She said she’s only there on Sunday’s? Why I’d like to come to this bar more and she needs more days or evenings. This bar needs more business Kerri will bring it! 🥰“
