“What a hidden gem in Joliet!!! Fantastic burger, fantastic service and a warm friendly greeting when u walk in. The place immediately got busy soon after we walked in and I can see why. I didn’t think to take a pic of the food we had but it was sooo good. We had the Colorado burger and the ohare burger. Phenomenal experience and we will definitely come back again. Thank you for an award winning meal all the way around. Merry Christmas!!!“

“The first time I’ve ever been to this restaurant. It was quite honestly the best gyro I have ever had. A total unexpected gem in Joliet. I had the gyro platter 2; the portions are amazing, the meat is superbly done & very high quality, the seasoning is perfect without being overdone. And the Taziki sauce was just crazy good. I would buy it by the gallon. The staff at Johnnys was super nice and the amount of work they put into this food absolutely pays off. I will most certainly be coming here anytime I think of a gyro.“

“Went at lunch time reluctantly thinking it would take a long time. Not at all. Had a detailed order for 4 people and it was perfect and fast. The lunch crew knows what they’re doing!!! I always love the food especially the grilled chicken salad. The kids love the loaded fries. ❤️“

“Ok, we went thru the drive-thru, so ambience can't be part of my review. That lets us focus straight on the food. Now, I remember Rax from decades ago. I've not had a Rax Roast Beef since 1989 or 1990. And a big pox on management for not showing any solid leadership - someone must have paid the C-suite to tank the brand, as they've shrunk mightily. One would think it's the food. Au contraire. We got a regular Rax, a King Rax, and Twisty Fries, along with a chocolate shake. WOW. I was blown away. It essentially tossed the Arby's roast beef into the garbage- the bun was warm, soft, buttery..... the meat? Spectacular. their BBQ sauce was less tasty than I'd remembered- the Twisty Fries were just spot on fantastic! Why this place isn't growing again is beyond me! The food is awesome, and we'll gladly make the drive from the NW Suburbs to Joliet to have this delectable roast beef sandwich again. Try it- it's REALLY good!“

“Extremely clean and nice atmosphere as I would call it a hot dog joint, but it's more than that. It's upscale from a hot dog joint. (I'm from Chicago) The food is tasty and worth the buck. You will not be disappointed. I no longer live in the area, but I do tend to stop in and have a bite.“

“I LOVE the custom order salads. Fill out the slip, pick out your favorite ingredients and dressing. Then after a short wait, dive into a bountiful fresh salad full of all the things you want to eat. My last one was romaine lettuce with grilled chicken, mushroom, asparagus, tomato, red onion, hard boiled egg, with Caesar dressing. So good!! It will be years before I run out of combinations!! “I love this place. I went with my friend after a dance competition and it was perfect. The fries are absolutely amazing, along with the hot dogs. I'm not one to get more than just ketchup on my hot dog but I would try it here. I'm also super picky with my hot dogs which is why i was a little nervous to try this place but I honestly don't think I've ever had a better hotdog lol.“

“This place has amazing food and service is great, especially from the cook! My husband buys us food from here at least 2-3 times a month so we’ve got around to try almost everything (he has for sure), and we’re never disappointed. The only reason I did not put 4 stars is because the hours aren’t always accurate with what’s posted. There has been times when we’ve wanted to get food here, but they were closed early. Other than that, I definitely recommend it here! ?“

“Mashed potatoes and gravy were kind of good except they microwave the Styrofoam so you get that chemical taste in the food. Plus the potatoes were instant. I was hungry and so I ended up dipping the fries in the gravy. The mashed potatoes I had to throw away. The grilled cheese was dry and the bread was pretty firm But that may have been my fault, asking for light butter“

“Nice people, food is amazing and worth the trip. Raviolis you need to try them.The poorboy sub is now my new favorite, please do not let the patty scare you, it's a slab of heaven waiting for you.They also got some legit hot giardiniera so just keep that in mind if you normally expect mild giardiniera with your italian beef. Caught me off guard the first time but it was good regardless.“

“I’ve gone twice with my hubby and went back a third time with my mom. I’ve had both chicken and beef philly’s. All 3 times they’ve been delicious! And they brew fresh iced tea, sweet and unsweetened!!! The manager has come out to talk to us each time to see how we liked our food, very nice of him to ask. We haven’t tried the wings yet but are planning to, it’s just to hard to pass up having a philly!“

“The cooks behind the counter are absolutely awesome. If you are a regular they remember your usual as you walk in the door. The beef tacos are excellent well honestly everything is excellent. I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience. The people at the register are always nice and friendly, they like to joke around and it's always welcome. The place is always clean, this is mainly a to go place but you can dine in for a quick bite. Definitely worth the trip.“

“I came here for hotdogs after a fun day of disc golf, but I was pleasantly surprised by their tacos. The staff was friendly and suggested the al pastor tacos, which were delicious and flavorful. I highly recommend this place for a quick and satisfying bite.“

“Everytime I come here my food is fresh and the workers are super nice. I've never had a bad experience besides the line taking awhile sometimes but it's understandable with pretty much everywhere being short staffed. Last time I went, I was given 2 extra sliders which was awesome. Thank you for having great customer service.“

“Awesome!!! Best dairy queen I ever been to. The girls always make our blizzards the way I like them. They always have a good amount of candy pieces in the blizzards. Other Dairy Queens do not put enough candy pieces and the other Dairy queen on Jefferson Street by Larkin put other chocolate chunks in my s'mores that were not the marshmallow filled ones. So, if you go to Dairy Queen, this is the only Dairy Queen I recommend. I am very picky about my blizzards but this place always makes it good!!! Also, the newer girl Arianna is super sweet and very professional. She made me the most amazing blizzard ever!!!“

“I go here all the time. Take the survey at the bottom of your receipt and you get a free large fry on your next visit. Everything is delicious. From the beef sandwhich, to the hot dogs, to the burgers, to the fries, to the salads, to the polish sausage, to the chicken sandwhich, to the cake shakes, etc etc etc. Idk if it's this good at all locations. But this location is always on point. Love the atmosphere and vibe as well. Super fast, too, and it's always packed so idk how they do it, but they do. Take the survey, people, it's a waste not to. Who wants to go to portillos without the cheese fries ?“

“Stopped for the first time today and now I'm kicking myself for not trying it before! Fries were fresh and crispy with a great seasoning, burger was everything I was hoping it would be. “I use to love Nelly’s till they moved. It use to be very family friendly. I miss the old side. I don’t like how you have to walk in though the brewery and that you have to sit in the brewery or the side room. The drive thru is nice, however I don’t think it is very family friendly anymore.“
