“My wife and I walked by a few times and hadn’t tried it but boy are we glad we did! I had an egg sandwich which I could not eat fast enough because it was so good and my wife had the curry bowl with spam which she also loved. Food peoples of Evanston unite! This place is superb and the food came out fast. They even thanked us personally for coming in. I highly recommend giving it a try, you’ll be as glad as we were.“

“I love this place! My husband and I are pretty regular customers for over 10 years and we never had a bad meal at Siam Paragon. Super friendly owners and servers - great food variety - Japanese, Thai, Chinese and Korean. Everything is very fresh and tasty. Also big bang margaritas and liche martinis are strong and delicious. “When I walked in, I was hit with the artist MIA and knew I was in the right place! A co-worker told me about Fire Bowl Hibachi and recommended it for dinner. I'm glad she did! I was instantly greeted when I walked in, and given instructions for easy ordering. The wait was about 10 minutes and I got to listen to some good music while I waited. The chicken, veggies, and rice were well seasoned and tasty. The young man at the counter recommended three sauces and they were all delicious. The sweet teriyaki was my favorite. The hash browns are your regular frozen hash browns but they're crispy and come with an onion jam. I learned what a calamansi was from the soda option, it's a small citrus fruit that's a hybrid between a kumquat and a mandarin. It's a pretty good soda.“

It was definitely pricey but I saw a sign that they provide free meals to children on Mondays. Reading the reviews, I know people were definitely using this offering. If some of my payment went to feeding a child in my community, I was happy to spend it.

“This place was perfect for celebrating a birthday. We came on a Friday afternoon and it was pleasantly not busy until it got later into the afternoon. We choose their spicy broth and tomatoes one. There was an unlimited choice of meats to choose from and a station for making your own sauce. You could also get up and get some vegetables and noodles as well. They also had some appetizer and rice as well.

“one lower level than top japanese american cuisine. BUT better than most out there. I don’t mean that in a bad way. I would definitely still come here and explore other dishes they have and definitely order these again. My spiciness tolerance isn’t great (I think hot cheetos are spicy) With that being said the spicy miso and spicy beef were spicy like hot cheetos level to me. but so delicious! This Thai tea, one of the best I have had! Not too sweet! I like the music they played as well.“
