“My wife and I walked by a few times and hadn’t tried it but boy are we glad we did! I had an egg sandwich which I could not eat fast enough because it was so good and my wife had the curry bowl with spam which she also loved. Food peoples of Evanston unite! This place is superb and the food came out fast. They even thanked us personally for coming in. I highly recommend giving it a try, you’ll be as glad as we were.“

“Recently had dinner at Paragon on Main street in Evanston. Our last time eating there was probably 15-20 years ago! It was a little later on a summer Saturday evening so the restaurant was a little quieter. We were seated in a comfortable booth and ordered a couple of dishes. Papaya salad (Som Tum) which was outstanding piled high and super fresh. Asked for it medium but it came not very spicy. Offered additional thai chiles which we sprinkled on and that did the trick. Perfect spice level and flavor.
Ordered MooShu pork which came already pancake wrapped (3) which seemed a bit odd....but was flavorful and very generous w/the protein. Also got a curry dish w/thai eggplant, peanuts & potato and our protein was tofu which was very tasty. Generous portion w/rice. Service was efficient and very good value. Would definitely go back to try other dishes.“

“Fast service and the bowls were pretty good portion sizes. A little pricey, but they serve breakfast pretty late into the afternoon. The bacon is extra but worth it. The hash browns are your regular frozen hash browns but they're crispy and come with an onion jam. I learned what a calamansi was from the soda option, it's a small citrus fruit that's a hybrid between a kumquat and a mandarin. It's a pretty good soda.“

Had the Monster Ramen and it was the most flavorful ramen I’ve ever tried. “When I walked in, I was hit with the artist MIA and knew I was in the right place! A co-worker told me about Fire Bowl Hibachi and recommended it for dinner. I'm glad she did! I was instantly greeted when I walked in, and given instructions for easy ordering. The wait was about 10 minutes and I got to listen to some good music while I waited. The chicken, veggies, and rice were well seasoned and tasty. The young man at the counter recommended three sauces and they were all delicious. The sweet teriyaki was my favorite. Overall, I'm glad I checked this place out, after eating, I have plenty of food remaining for leftovers, and I will be back!“

“We were staying next door and trying to find a lunch spot. We chose Sando Street, and were very happy we did. First time trying a sando. We got the Bulgogi and Tonkatsu Sandos. They were excellent! They tasted very fresh, great combinations of flavors and textures. Tip: eat the sando from the wrapper as long as you can, otherwise bits of sando fall out. (That’s what a fork is for!). Staff was very nice and helpful. Atmosphere was decent - it is a small place with a couple of booths, a few tables, and a counter. While we were there, we saw quite a few carry-outs go out the door. Highly recommended.“

It was definitely pricey but I saw a sign that they provide free meals to children on Mondays. Reading the reviews, I know people were definitely using this offering. Ordered the pork and ginger dumplings and the grilled chicken. The dumplings even though they were hot, they were still flavorful. The chicken paired with the coconut rice was well-cooked and very filling. I had the egg tart for dessert and it tasted okay, Overall still satisfied with the experience and food.“

“Over 20 years ago I started eating at their original Lincoln Park location. Today, their delicious food keeps me coming back time after time. It helps that the restaurant is staffed by the nicest people in the world. When I call for pickup they know my order (lad nar with chicken and Japanese gyoza) and they have it ready in ten minutes. Ten minutes!“

“This place was perfect for celebrating a birthday. We came on a Friday afternoon and it was pleasantly not busy until it got later into the afternoon. We choose their spicy broth and tomatoes one. There was an unlimited choice of meats to choose from and a station for making your own sauce. You could also get up and get some vegetables and noodles as well. They also had some appetizer and rice as well.

Definitely will be coming here again, also your birthday meal if you come on the day of is complimentary if you come with one other person.“

“My family and I tried Nori Sushi for the first time last night. We did take out. This place will be our new go-to! Everything was ready, right on time. When I got the food home, everything was hot and fresh. The Chicken Katsu, Poke Bowl and Garlic Rice with shrimp were amazing! the side salads were crisp and fresh and the spicy Miso was, surprise, SPICY!!!
Nori Sushi has been in the community for a long time. Not sure why it took us so long as to try it. That said, we will be back!“
