The original soy garlic chicken is my favorite, but the curry and snow onion are delicious as well. Sometimes, we order the cheese curds which is also super yummy. “Great atomosphere cool concept like how they call out the alcohol and food orders when Ready. The pimento Mac was great flavor, as was the mashed and gravy. Very unique to have boneless breast thighs wing and leg portions battered and fried. Was very good. I just think the sauces were way to pricey at $1.45 a sauce wow even 99 cents seems a lot but would feel better lol. At least give one with the order or reduce the sauce price. But overall they need to spread this concept into more areas for sure out side like in the suburbs“

“We tried Byrd’s Hot Chicken in Skokie and it was absolutely worth it! We ordered the Byrd Bomb (crispy tenders with cheese, slaw, 24 karat sauce, pickles on bread and hot toast) and it was packed with flavor. The hot chicken sandwich was juicy and had the perfect kick, while the crispy Byrd wrap was a great twist with amazing crunch. We also got a full order of wings, and they were cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside and tender inside.
The drinks selection is solid (Pepsi products) and paired perfectly with the heat. Service was great, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the place had plenty of space with lots of parking available.
If you’re looking for delicious hot halal chicken with great portions and excellent service, this is the spot. Definitely coming back! Also they are on uber eats and open super late“

The Spicy Garlic Soy Sauce was deliciously spicy! The Jr Chicken Sandwich was a great portion and filling I had the Hot Version (Habanero) and yes it was HOT as I HOPED FOR 🥵🔥(FINALLY AND FOR ONCE!). My son (13) had the Chicken wrap with Mild sauce (Cayenne) and he smacked the whole thing and said it was very good. We also ordered Fried Okra✅ Delicious and Fresh Never Frozen! The side of white rice fresh, soft and excellent grain quality ✅. The Slaw was Ok I would have appreciated a little more seasoning (perhaps) but I did like that it was the slaw threads very slimmed cut.
This is A GREAT HOUSE FOR REAL SPICY FOOD LOVERS! DONT ORDER THE HOT LEVEL OR HIGHER IF YOU DONT TRULY EAT SPICY FOODS, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT KIDDING AND THE HOT SAUCE IS HOT! I visited Chicago for about a week and tried plenty of restaurants in that time - from carts to michelin starred. I have to say that in my entire stay, the Art of Chicken takes the prize for my favorite meal.

They absolutely killed the pulled chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese (be sure to add their sauce to it)!!

While I was the only guest at the time, Mr. Christian behind the register made the effort to strike up convo and ensure that the hospitality was the icing on the cake.

“I first tried this place when its first open the food was better. My family and I order trays of chicken fingers with their amazing sauce and fries. Until last year I ordered the chicken sandwich combo and my niece ordered chicken fingers combo we realized the taste of their food change from chicken to the sauce and fries. Its too peppery not like before perfect seasoning. I told her this was not their food before. I said I'm not going back again. Then my child and I was hungry after her game it was late around 11p. So my kid wanted to eat chicken sandwich and want to go to Cane's. We ordered the chicken sandwich combo and I order the tenders combo, still same taste very peppery. I was planning to buy a take home tray of fingers but changed my mind. I hope they put their true recipe back like before. Their sauce is too much ketchup and pepper, chicken is very seasoned with pepper and the fries is too salty. This restaurant was good before now very disappointing. But atleast the ice tea is still good but it was better before. I guess it's just because they were newly open that time the recipe was good. I'd hope they kept it like just before.“

“Got the spicy fried chicken, palabok, burger steak, mashed potatoes, and guava freeze. Overall the food is good and doesn’t take too long like other locations. It wasn’t too busy when I got here. But the spicy fried chicken was less spicy than other locations that I have tried. It tastes like just fried chicken. So it wasn’t bad just not spicy at all. So don’t expect it to be spicy but it’s still good anyway if you're dripping with the sauce. Palabok was my favorite one. The atmosphere is quiet and easy to talk in. All the places are clean and the staff are very nice. Some items online were unavailable but I recommend to check with them because they have it, it's just not on the menu online. There are plenty of parking spots too and a drive-thru option.“

The staff was super accommodating and the Veg Thali (sampler platter) was absolutely divine. My friends got the Mutton Thali and Chicken Thali and said it is some of the best food they've had in Chicago. Spice level is definitely on the hotter side of restaurants I've been to but that made for a great meal. Incredibly affordable too.
