“Both the fish and chicken were very fresh and flavorful. However, the fries were a bit subpar—once they cooled down, the texture became unpleasant. I would recommend considering fresh-cut potatoes as an alternative. Mild sauce was amazing flavor, tangy, sweet and savory. Paired well with both chicken and fish. No seats, no dining, go there place order wait outside or in your car, then leave.“

“First time coming out to try this type of experience. Everything was great and our server (Ryan) did a great job explaining things to us. He even gave some great recommendations on what to order. I’m a carnivore by nature so this was my kind of place. I forget what the rice dish with the egg was called but I enjoyed the crispy texture at the edge of the sizzling bowl. I went into a mini-meat trance after all was said and done but it was worth it.“

I love green tomatoes the best I found since my on. The smoked Brisket Burgers you won’t stop eating them. They are in rivers oaks right now but they are moving downtown Chicago. I believe we ordered the 2 meat and a side with a drink for 20 bucks. Restroom was also clean. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the drink cup sizes. It's a small sized fountain drink you get with your order. A medium would be nice, but that's minor. Good food. Try it out“

“I grew up in texas, and know a thing about bbq. I've had regional bbq in every pocket of the country.

BBQ King is terrific. Not only are their flavors accurate, but with being a couple thousand miles away from the nearest epicenter of bbq, they've done a really great job bringing those flavors as north as we are.

One of the ways I judge bbq is actually the sides. Anyone can watch a youtuber 15 times and probably put together a decent brisket or pork shoulder, but can they make really good mac and cheese? Can they get the cornbread right? Can they give just enough spice to the green beans? Trust me - if a bbq spot has really good sides, they know what they're doing.

“Definitely a must try ...well a add to rotation of places to frequent. Went on a Friday night and the owner came out to tell us about a few items/ samples. Not only was the turkey tips tender and flavorful, the sides were definitely a costar. Greens and Mac were 10/10. Oh and let's not forget about the cornbread, chef's kiss. Next trip I make that way , the pizza selection will be a next try and I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed.“

“Let me start off by saying, I rock with this place!! I’ve been going for years since the smaller location. The customer service on this experience was HORRIBLE!! I asked for extra sauce on my Jumbo tip and link combo, small turkey tip, and 6 wings ($55). When the cashier relayed the request to the lady who was preparing the food she got a real crappy attitude like I was asking for too much. I guess because they were almost closing. I asked her what she said and she went all off. “I wasn’t talking to you I was talking to her!” I asked what her name was and she refused to give it to me. No name tags present or I wouldn’t have asked. Then she directed me to the manager who was also preparing food for any concerns that I may have. I asked the manager Nivia Battle (I think that’s what she said) was she required to give me her name. She said no. Her attitude was crappy as well. Just negative energy behind the glass. Except for the cashier. I also told the that they need to improve their customer service and that I WILL BE BACK!! I have no complaints about my order at all. Food was great!!! They just need to get someone back there that’s actually going to do their job without being so nasty.“

“I ordered a Half Slab of Baby Back Ribs, 1/2 lb of Beef Brisket (burnt ends), and a small side of Mac and Cheese. The portions of meat were generous and well-seasoned, generously coated in BBQ sauce, making them quite delicious. However, the Mac and Cheese did not meet expectations and needs improvement. I was taken aback by the restaurant's size; it was quite small. As someone in a wheelchair, I had difficulty making a 360-degree turn due to the narrow waiting area. Despite this, the atmosphere was pleasant, filled with the enticing aroma of BBQ, and the chef was friendly and laid-back. Overall, I recommend Medley's BBQ and plan to return to try their Turkey Tips and Fried Chicken Skins.“

“I had lunch here yesterday (Sunday), and everything was wonderful — the drinks, the food, and the desserts were all delicious. After my meal, I accidentally dropped my wallet in the restroom without realizing it. Thankfully, a kind customer found it and turned it in to the front desk. I called today and was able to get my wallet back.
