“The food that I order is always good only 1 or two times they didn’t cook the livers well enough but no hard complaints.. the ladies always seem a little moody at first but nice in the end I like browns always have scared to try anything different because I don’t want to have to write a bad review lol 5 stars for the food for now (livers mushrooms and the corn fritters)“

“I arrived at the restaurant around 3 pm. I was excited to see there were no other customers inside the restaurant. I was politely greeted by the Harold's employee who very patiently answered my questions. After placing my order I stepped aside and prepared myself for a long wait. After a couple of hands of Gin Rummy on my phone, my name was called and my order was ready. It was correct, hot and delicious.

I had the Wings with Spicy Teriyaki and Lemon pepper fries. Churros made fresh, paired well with the Nutella dip. Overall great vibe, great food, service and price! This place is worth it and definitely a Chicago Best wing spot in my opinion! I will be back to taste the other flavors.“

“We normally go to Harold's #88 when in Illinois.. so when they told us they could not make us a big order of chicken I was disappointed...my aunt suggested that we go to this one and they had the best chicken out of any Harlod's Chicken that we ever been to even when it was cold it was still good best chicken ever.... “Harold’s is always the first place i go when i land in the Chi. This past week was no different. My best friend picked me up from the airport and already knew what it was, lol. This particular Harold’s was recommended. I stopped in around 8:30 or so and i gave my spill abt how it’s a tradition each time i come Chicago, Harold’s it’s always the first stop. The lady at the register took my order and asked where i was visiting from. I got wings and a pizza puff with mild and hot sauce, salt/pepper, and ketchup. She recommended i add Lemon Pepper, i obliged. After abt 10 minutes, i got my fresh food with a free bottle of mild sauce. Once i made it to the crib the food was gone in abt 7 mins. Food and customer service 10 out of 10 would highly recommend… I’ll definitely be back.“

Bring paid stamped receipt back to restaurant side. No receipt-no food! I don't bother with the old veggies on display. Fresh chicken is what I usually get when in a rush. Spanish speaking cook is very friendly and accurate.“

“We ordered all chicken after seeing an IG post of how delicious it was. I must say I liked it, My daughter loved it, and my niece said it was just ok! They said the lady who provided the customer service was really nice to them (they're teenagers). They spent their own money so of course they said it was a bit pricey. Definitely will go back and order my sauce on the side (they did not scimp out on the mild sauce.) Sorry I haven't patronized this neighborhood establishment sooner! I went back recently and grabbed a shrimp dinner and it was pretty good!“

“Under the new ownership, I've only had the gizzards. But they were good! Hot and fresh and that spicy sauce is soooooo good. I sometimes try to place an order over the phone, but I never get thru. Other than that no issues. If you don't get to place a phone order be prepared to wait about 20 mins. All the food is cooked to order. Just go get your juice and whatever else you're gonna need with your food and when you get back your food is ready and you can go enjoy it?“

Going back to get my slaw, I stated the menu says slaw comes with the order. They said the slaw is actually complimentary and that you only pay for the food itself not the coleslaw. “I came in last night (03/14/25) before hitting the highway to head home, Food was AMAZING ! The only downside was I purchased the 2 meat + 2 side + an extra side & only received one of my meats. Total was almost $30. Didn’t realize until I was already home 2hrs away eating my meal. I received my jerk chicken, but not my stew meat (I think that’s what it’s called). I was the lady with the baby sitting down. I will say that buddy was back there doing all the work himself and that line kept piling up, so I get it. 😩 I just would've loved to have tasted the other meat & that mean my leftovers (that I’m eating rn) would be bigger 👏🏽🤣 lol“
