“Wanted to say we enjoyed breakfast and Carla was a delight to have as a waitress! thanks! we had the bacon biscuits and pork gravy, Cuban French toast, and the Mayan Omelette. next time I will do the Malaka with Greek sausage (made in house and delicious) highly recommend and will be back on our next visit!“

“I cannot put into words how wonderful, hospitable and welcoming this place is. I was welcomed in by the owner Samantha, young respectful young lady, she took my order she made me feel at home. I felt as though I was eating brunch at my Abuelita’s home. Thank you Samantha and family for the warm welcome- the red chilaquiles and cafe de olla we’re phenomenal and I will be sure to be back with my babies and husband! I mentioned to Samantha I was treating myself for my birthday and she brought out a cinnamon role with a candle meant the world to me!“

“Food is all homemade ... chilliques are so good with red sauce To die for... The burgers are HUGe.... so delicious.... the fries are like no others and I personally never order fries. So they have to be good.... I did substitute the salad for the fries and was blown away how tasty it was... I mean I'm talking salad right!! Please come visit this beautiful restaurant and tast the real homemade goodness.“

“Great find, so stoked to try this place while visiting my brother. Phenomenal local diner, got a simple selection of breakfast staples and they were all exactly what I wanted. Could have eaten 2 orders of hashbrowns! Laura (sp?) was warm and friendly. I think I found my spot when I'm in town.“

“Had a delicious meal with a friend. I have a ton of allergies and the chef and server had me feeling like a normal human being even though I had to make special requests. Go try it!
Dietary restrictions: 5-stars. Oak milled was offered with oatmeal. Got my toast as ordered, with no butter. Shellfish allergy was noted.“

This place deserves to be a five-star restaurant. I remember coming here as a kid with my mom, and now that I’m older, I had the chance to bring my wife for the first time. We had a wonderful time! Even the owner’s son works here, which adds to the friendly, family-oriented vibe we loved. A big thank you to Daniel for the excellent service! I highly recommend this spot to everyone—it’s perfect for both date nights and family gatherings.

“I really enjoy his restaurant all the way around. The food is delicious and I particularly like the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, Spinach and Mushroom Omelette, Colorado Omelette, Bacon Temptation Omelette, Spicy Poblano Omelette, and Cowboy Hamburger with Barbeque Sauce. I also really appreciate the wonderful background music and the fact that you're open 24 hours a day. And above all, the service here is outstanding. Everybody who's employed here is very kind, helpful, compassionate, and efficient and goes way beyond the call of duty. Keep up the great work!“

“We had a large group just before lunchtime on a Saturday, and they were great about squeezing us in. Our server D was amazing, truly, and the other staff were helpful and attentive, too. The food was delicious, hot, fast, priced affordably. They have a large menu. We had some special diets in our group and there were enough options for them to find what they needed. I definitely would return and would recommend it to friends.“

“I ordered through Uber Eats (Didn't let me review). It didn't look that good arriving because the food was slid to one side. But the food was perfectly seasoned and delicious with generous portions. First time trying their food. I ordered the Honey Bacon Brussels Hash, it was delicious. Savory, a touch of spice just right. Salted Caramel Holey Donuts were good. Looking forward to trying more.“

“"What a charming and cozy neighborhood breakfast spot! We had the large three-stack pancakes, which came topped with fresh strawberries, as well as eggs with corned beef hash. We also ordered ham and eggs, both of which came with a generous serving of potatoes, bell peppers, and onions. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The portions were so big that we even had leftovers to take home. The total came to just under $50, which was more than reasonable. We'll definitely be back. We really loved this place!"

“Don's grill was so incredibly fast and good! 🔥 We walked right over from Douglas park where our music festival was and even though only 2 people were working, they were hustling and gliding like pros! 🏃♂️💨 The food was really good and all of it was made to order right in front of us. 👀 The patty melt was exactly what I needed and the breakfast was grubbin'! 🤤“

“First time at this restaurant.. came for a concert with my hubby and just googled a nice spot for breakfast.. and came here. The service from our waiter Caleb was fantastic! I was just visiting from Puerto Rico and if I come back I would love to visit Yia Yia again because the food is awesome but the service provided by Amira made the food even better.“

“We stumbled upon Flying Saucer while visiting Chicago and are glad we did. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is fun with nice indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff were friendly, helpful and on top of it. This is the type of restaurant I wish I had in my neighborhood. If you’re in the area it’s a must visit.“

“Been there twice still impressed with their excellent fast food and customer service. Very clean, beautiful, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I’ve only been there in the mornings during the week so prob least amount of crowd.“
