“Love the atmosphere as soon as we walked in on a Friday late morning. We were sat right away. Coffee was never empty and the food was fast and amazing. This was our first time here but we will be back very soon. Their lemon raspberry crepes were delicious and perfectly balanced. I got the jalapeno omelet with hash and mini waffles. When they brought the plate out it was MOUNDED with food.“

“We went here last night for Singo and what a great time! There was about 40 people playing and it was soooo fun!!! The food here is OUTSTANDING! They have a limited menu of flatbreads and sliders! Don’t be fooled by the limited options. They offer all types of flatbreads and sliders! Delicious!!

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. The delivery person outside tried to give me at least 3 different orders that weren’t ours, and when we got home the chicken nuggets were missing the sauce, and the chili was missing the toppings and sour cream. “We have been going there for the last five years bragging about the hamburgers. Went there today order the hamburger it came out. Almost fully well done very poor quality. One asked If I could have gotten it rare was told menu says medium well. Meat was of a quality as if it was cooked earlier this week. Definitely will not be going back for hamburgers. Was told by the waitress No one will ask you how you want it done it says on the menu. We used to consider it best burger in town.“

“Great food, but Not Sure For a Quick Lunch
We were driving down 173 the other day, saw their sign and tried them out for lunch. You enter into a fairly large dining room with many tables. To the left is a large bar. There was one other couple and two groups of 6-8 seniors having lunch. We later saw that the seniors were bridge players and started playing cards after lunch. Only one server/hostess was working and she worked hard. She took our drink order, ice water for me and fresh brewed Iced Tea ($3.00) for my wife. We then took to studying the expansive menu. It is just like the menu at Dockers down in Fox Lake. You name it, they have it. We see our server refilling drinks for the other diners, bringing out some appetizers, etc. and finally taking our food order. We were in no rush and just sat and talked. Then we saw our server bringing meals out to people that were there way before we got there. Not a good sign as there was another large group still to get their meals in front of us. Our drinks got refilled and we sat some more. Our food finally arrived after an easy half hour, maybe longer. She did explain that it was only her and the cook so that's what took so long. The meals were worth the wait. My wife had the Dockers Style Marinated Chicken Plate ($15.99) with fresh fruit. A warm pita was topped with a juicy and tasty Greek seasoned chicken with a side Greek salad and several slices of fresh fruit. I had the Grecian Salad with Chicken ($15.99). Prior to bringing out our meals, our server asked if I like anchovies on my Greek salad - I sure do and she loaded me up. The salad was composed of plenty of the usual Greek salad ingredients and a very tasty dressing. This could easily be shared. Our meals were excellent, fresh and flavorful! Everything we saw go by looked delicious and we would go back again if we were in the area, just not if we're pressed for time.“

“We ate at the BratHaus on Tuesday for lunch. The food and service was excellent and the owner, Jerry, was kind enough to listen to stories of my childhood, working in the hardware store that my great grandfather started back in the early 1900s. Was lucky enough to work for my grandpa there while in middle school. Great to see some of the original things that have been kept. We will be back next time we visit.“

“we love coming here for breakfast. great atmosphere, employees are always upbeat and in the best of moods. generous portions for the prices. variety of choices. I have my favorites that I rotate through. I in particular love the gyro skillet. if I have a sweet tooth I get the belly buster, the choice that has the pancake and add strawberry and whip cream. the pancakes are FLUFFY, so good. our baby always gets a scramble egg on the side and she pretty much launches at my hand while feeding her so apparently I need to start cooking with butter at home or whatever they do. we always leave full and talking about how nice those people are on our way home.“
