“We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. Prices were very reasonable and our service was exceptional. Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.“

“We have visited at least 10 times before since moving back to the area, but tonight we sat outside in the heated patio area. Our service from start to finish was amazing, the food was absolutely fantastic. We usually sit inside by the bar but I cannot wait for summer to enjoy more of this patio! The staff, drinks, apps, food, and atmosphere could not be more enjoyable.“

“Such a fantastic little spot on the downtown antioch strip. The espresso I had was absolutely delicious and rich! The owner was very friendly and accommodating. There were some people doing open mic, guitar and drums. Very cool place to hang with friends and let the creative spirits flow! They even roast their own beans! I brought some home. ?“

“The Lakemoor location is great. The employees are always friendly. The cones are still as delicious as they were way back when I was young. They don’t skimp on the ice cream. Go, get an Original Rainbow cone. You will not be disappointed. Yum.?“

“Excellent food and service. We stopped for breakfast here and I got the build-your-own breakfast skillet and it was excellent. Good-sized portion for my meal and not ridiculously priced. Looks like they are known for their pizza. I definitely will be back to try it, but breakfast was excellent sitting out on their patio that overlooked the canal. Highly recommended. Enjoy!“

“We had fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and shrimp and chicken carbarnara
which was good. Chicken gnocchi soup..good. the salmon was pretty bland and dry.
The chocolate cake was good the tiramisu was not very good (they muct have changed the recipe) and I won't order that again.
Overall it was a good experience but 1 meal and 1 dessert could have been better.“
