“We tried Grounded Ciffee in Frankfort based on a recommendation of a friend. It is located in Downtown Frankfort near other restaurants that we frequent but we never noticed the place. It is in an old building that has been decorated in the customer area. The kitchen and prep areas seem to be pretty old school. Lots of seating inside and a ton of seating outside.They are lacking a big easily readable menu sign. There is a smaller one that you can see to your left when you become the second person in line. Staff was very nice. There were 2 employees on a Monday morning around 9 am. The pizza bagel was very delicious and was freshly prepared. The coffee was ok about par with most places. There was a steady flow of customers, mostly locals, that were ordering. We sat outside and enjoyed a 70 degree morning with a light breeze. If you live in the area or are in the area I would suggest giving it a try. They do have a menu online and small mini menus printed on small sheets of paper by the condiment station. Menu is very limited but sufficient for what it is. Be weary of a large step up and down at the doorway. This would be difficult to impossible for folks in wheelchairs and possibly walkers unless there is another entrance I am not aware of.“

“This location runs incredibly efficiently because of the drive-through employee named Brittany. She always gets everybody's order perfect right and she is lightning speed fast. I will only come here because of her. I met her by going through the drive-through so many times and realizing that the only time things moved, was when she was there. Make sure to thank n tip her every time for her wonderful service and hope that her employer understands how valuable she is to the team.“

“Our 1st time today and we will definitely be back. They had a wide variety of fresh donuts and when my son didn't see the cookie monster donut he wanted, the lady behind the counter offered to make one up for him! Thank you so much for the great customer service!“

“It’s a very good place. The donuts are very good 😊 and tasty 😋. I tried there boba and it was wonderful. The workers where nice and the store is nicely built. I hope this place will not go out of business. I also tried two of the corn dogs. I don’t remember one of them, but I remember the hot 🥵 Cheeto one and it was very good and had some spiciness to it and not to much but good enough. I give the whole place a 10/10“

“Very cute! Definitely a spot to hit even if you’re not taking the train. Give the French Toast Latte a try- I don’t love super sugary coffees, this was a great balance (delicious flavor but not too sweet)! And the maple coffee syrup is made in house. My husband got the banana bread cold brew- never tasted anything like it, unique and tasted exactly like banana bread in a cup! Highly recommend 😍“

“I used to live and work in the area and this was my daily Dunkin spot. I frequented so often they knew when I pulled up before I even spoke at the drive thru. Service is always tip top and fast.
You'd think because it's a coffee chain that all the dunkins make the coffee the same but in my experience that is not true.
I stopped in today while I was in the area because they just don't make it like other DDs. I love this Dunkin so much.
The employees are happy and amazing with their customers. And it shows when their regulars walk in, everything is just up beat and happy. Everyone's happy to be here and I think this atmosphere is unlike any other. Cheers to whomever runs this store, you're killin it“

“Im a frequent customer at this particular Dunkin Donuts. The African american cashier was very rude & unapologetically for messing up my food & drink today. Her exact words are: I gave you what you gave me and then told her fellow coworkers that she was over it today. Keep in mind it’s 9am in the morning and you are the very first face that a customer sees at this establishment coming in, she was NOT working the drive through. Her customer service was terrible. But besides that The manager here is very nice, sweet, so it’s a few other cashiers here. They have outstanding customer service & very clean.“

One of the main reasons we keep coming back is because of an employee named Nani, whose name I first learned from his coworkers while he was handing out coffee. He carries himself with such kindness and respect. He’s truly down-to-earth and goes out of his way to make customers feel comfortable. What stands out most is how he takes the time to make small talk with us while we wait for our order—it’s those little moments that make a big difference.

My sister recently stopped by after getting off the train, feeling stressed from work, and decided to grab some donuts. She later texted me about how kind and thoughtful Nani was to her. His positive energy meant so much to her that she even offered him a job where she works and wrote him a heartfelt letter encouraging him to never change.

It’s rare to come across someone with such a genuine and uplifting personality. Nani is truly one of a kind, and he adds so much positivity to this place. Please never let go of this amazing worker!“

“The donuts were a little stale. I suspect they were day old donuts. We were standing at the counter for a few minutes until somebody actually came and took our order. I asked that the large mocha blast be separated into 2 separate cups. And they didn't do it. I ended doing it myself and created a mess at the table. Overall the experience was ok.“
