Got a Kiwi and Jamun (Java Plum, “Njaaval Pazham”) juice.
The Jamun juice was really good and tasted natural. I got it for nostalgia sake and was worth it.
The Kiwi on the other hand wasnt that great.
Very spacious and worth a hangout spot.“

“As a business owner, I don’t sugarcoat reviews. I travel extensively and review all kinds of restaurants, always calling out both the good and the bad when it’s deserved. This Tropical Smoothie Café exceeded my expectations.
The location was very clean, the food was fresh and well prepared, and everything tasted exactly the way it should. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient, which tells me this place is well managed. That matters.
Too many places cut corners—this one doesn’t. From cleanliness to customer service to food quality, they clearly take pride in what they do. This was a solid experience all around, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.“

“I go to this location quiet often, but I was extremely disappointed as well as angry with what I saw today at this location. (3/9/25 at 5:35pm) The 3 customers that were ahead of me placed their orders were first timers I found out. The young lady that was fixing their smoothies dropped a cup on the floor, picked the cup up from the floor then sat the cup to the side. As she finished one smoothie she pulled a fresh cup, then the 2nd smoothie she proceeded to pour it in the cup that she picked up off the floor. I told the young lady that took my order, so she then pulled the young to the side to tell her that I saw what she did then she looks at me and says "I'm Sorry" (I said to her): What do mean you are sorry, why would you do that, and why are you giving that to her, you need to remake that smoothie ...and guess what she did not. I'm just want to make people aware: Watch the people that prepare your sandwiches/smoothies or anything of that sort. It's not their stuff, they're not paying for it so they don't care. That was just the epitome of nasty and extremely unsanitary. She didn't have on a Tropical Cafe shirt, she had on a gray shirt, she may have been new, I'm not sure but we need to learn to do better when working with the public. Don't do things to people that you don't want done to you!!!!! FYI...the name on the ticket was: Shelia G“

“Visiting from Columbus OH, my family and I stopped here as it’s a family go to at home and fits into our plant based (vegan) lifestyle. We had a pleasant experience with the customer service and atmosphere. Jack was very welcoming and handled our rather large order with ease and speed. We had 3 smoothies, 2 avocado toast and one oatmeal bowl. Only critique I have is the oatmeal was slightly more watery than I’m used to. Anthony the owner stopped in during our stay and witness the praise I gave Jack. Clean and well kept. I hope our 2 littles didn’t cause too much a ruckus 😊“

“I went here with my boyfriend yesterday and my server did an amazing job. Her name was Sarah B, bowls are absolutely delicious, beautifully made, good amount of extra Nutella, the açaí is a nice frozen smoothly flavor, the smoothie I had was fresh and filled with the right quantity and nicely blended. I definitely recommend this place, it was enjoyable to eat and they know how to make their food!❤️“

“It’s my first time ever here. The gentleman recommended a few menu for us. He definitely knows what’s good. Boba and fruit smoothies and milk tea are so good. i got mango nature smoothies. brown sugar milk tea and coconut milk tea. oh my god. And there’s a big sofa is like heaven. It’s so cozy I was falling asleep I felt so welcomed and wanna def come back here again. He also offered us free sample of smoothies for us to try to see if we like it or not. I mean who does that these days. He is the kindest boba maker I’ve ever met. Thanks for your kindness. You’re such a nice person! 🙏💕☺️“
“The owner is a very sweet person with welcoming vibes. The refreshers are great; my most favorite refresher is the blue blast. My favorite smoothie there is Mixed Berries with add on peanut butter and granola pieces. They also have Wi-Fi. Highly recommend you guys to check this place out some day!“

“About 2 years ago, I re-established my health journey. After starting our family, we fell into many poor nutritional habits. Paying attention to macros and the food choices was hard….until the wonderful team at Steel Fitness Cafe helped realign us! Our biggest issue with healthier eating….flavor and options. At Steel Fitness Cafe, those worries completely dissolved! Want a great tasting protein shake that is ENJOYABLE??? Well then you are going in luck with the plethora of options here! Caramel Waffle Cone and Cinnamon Toast Crunch are two of my favorites! Need a meal that will fill you up AND make you feel good? They have those too! I helped myself to the Steak and Eggs! Spicy cashew dressing is the way to go- or they give you enough hummus you could use that as a dressing alternative. MANGO SALSA! Lemon couscous! I could go on! 😅 Yum! Impeccable friendly service. But if I buy an Acai bowl from Tropical Smoothie Cafe and leave the room for a few minutes, my kids will make it disappear.
Ezekiel makes a great bowl at TSC.
The staff is knowledgeable. The bathrooms and tables are clean. And the menu is. Lear and way to follow.
TSC is a staple for our family when we want to eat out.“

“Jamba decided that it would be acceptable to charge us $1.50 for a small cup of ice water with our order of three Jamba Juices. Apparently, hubby said it came up as $0 but then the clerk backed it out snd charged us $1.50. I would have told her to take her tap water and shove it - with my whole order but husband was nicer.“

“Today was my first time trying Smoothie King. I picked the Peanut Power Plus. When I substituted the nonfat milk (powder) for almond milk, I expressed my concern about my smoothie being thin/liquidity. The person who I worked with, I’m assuming the manager, assured me that it would still be thick or they’d be willing to remake it. He even added extra peanut butter. My smoothie was tasty. And although I only got the 20 oz, it was so filling, I could barely eat. 😂 That’s a good thing. Thanks for my smoothie but especially the excellent customer service.“

PLEASE remember to shake it before you put the straw in it cause flavor is key here. Tapioca is made fresh you can taste it, tea brewed perfectly and it’s delicious. Atmosphere is so cute. I recommend this place to anyone who likes boba or anyone who wants a fresh fruit smoothie! Great variety of flavors and milk options which isn’t common!“

She made my Mango-a-Go-Go smoothie with such care and precision, and it was absolutely perfect—refreshing, delicious, and full of flavor. Anna’s customer service went above and beyond; she greeted me with a warm smile and was genuinely attentive, making sure my order was exactly how I wanted it.
It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it really made my day! If you’re stopping by Jamba Juice in Norridge, I highly recommend visiting Anna for a smoothie done right. Five stars for a fantastic experience, outstanding service, and one of the best smoothies I've had!“

“Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“

“Let’s just say, I’m so happy they reopened this place!! They have such a wide variety of drinks, with excellent prices and great customer service. I like that it’s a small staff that they get to know you and what you like. I tried a couple of things, but once they recommended the Dubai chocolate WOW!! I have to tell myself not to go every day. The Zumba class is an escape from the stressors of daily life-like a night out dancing! Then I get to top it off with a delicious (healthy) drink! 😁The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, supportive and comfortable. It is a safe place to do your best and work at your level. I feel encouraged and supported by the FOCUS Team! I live a few towns away and that doesn’t stop me from making the drive (even with gas prices! Haha). I definitely recommend you give it a try.
