“The food and staff at 54th St in Glen Carbon are great but I REALLY HATE how after the remodel they can’t open the patio doors. What is the point of even saying you have a patio when it is all closed up.“

“Great little place we visited on a whim from out of town to meet a friend.

We were seated politely in the back area with lots of patio umbrellas on a nice deck porch.

We had lunch, but it looks like they have live music and a really great atmosphere for the evenings for anyone looking for a great place to chill with friends and a very relaxed atmosphere outdoors.

The bacon popcorn was really great. I had a chicken sandwich that was pretty good (maybe the chicken was a tiny dry) and my husband really loved his Cuban sandwich.

I would definitely try this place again on a Sunday afternoon

“I won’t say I don’t recommend as we’ve been there a couple times before and had a great experience! Last night neither of us enjoyed what we ordered, our fault, we both went against what we were going to originally order….we ate it, it’s fine, you live and learn. Our waitress is what left a bad taste. It’s like she instantly had something in her head about us or we weren’t one of her regulars that she had to cater to as she was sitting, laughing and chatting with those around us. Not friendly, short answers and would set our drinks down after being told thank you and just walk away. The only time there was even a hint of friendliness is when it came time to pay.“

“If you like local dive bars and pizza this is the place to go. Their pizza is the bomb ? The staff is friendly and most of the regulars are too. Lol. They also have an AMI jukebox, an ATM machine, several TV screens to watch sports games, and video gambling machines. They have a back patio with seating for smokers and they usually have heat out back when they remember to refill the propane tanks. It’s usually just one bartender waiting on everyone and making the pizzas in their pizza oven. Drink a cold one and enjoy the atmosphere while you wait. ??“

“7 of us gathered from Illinois, Florida and Missouri for lunch. From the minute we stepped in the front door and were greeted. We felt special and like family. Such welcoming, friendly staff. Service was great. Food outstanding. The atmosphere was perfect for allowing us to reunite and catch up on lost time.“

“We live 2 hours north and were in town for a Band Competition, we stopped in to eat. Our server Jordan was fabulous. With it being our first time there the manager sent us some free deviled eggs to sample! Highly recommend the deviled eggs, so tasty! They were a little busy with several parties and took a little longer to get our food but our server was attentive and apologetic for the wait. We were not mad or upset about the wait, totally understand when it’s busy. The manager gave us a free dessert for the wait. The customer service is top notch and they seem to care about the customers. And a plus that the food is delicious!!!! Highly recommend!! We will def be back!“

The food, wait staff and jukebox is what brings us back. Was there today with my son who’s disabled. He hates getting out of the house, but loves the jukebox. (He likes singing to his favorite song (The Star Spangled Banner). The staff is attentive and a special shout out to Kim. We were celebrating a special weekend for me. “My son and daughter in law’s wedding was May of 2022. I am not one to normally write a review but I find myself still thinking about the awesome food and service from Uncle Linny’s. We used them for both the rehearsal dinner and reception and could not have been more pleased. The carrot cake and Italian cakes are superb along with the dinner food that was chosen for both meals. Very nice to work with before and during events. Cleaned up well after dinners and had remaining food all together for take home. I would like to thank and highly recommend them! “I ordered online today and the food was ready quickly. Someone came out to my car as soon as I pulled up (receipt said kaydee I think). She was friendly and fast coming back with our order. Said they are always looking to improve and to let her know anything was wrong.

Food was all hot. My steak was cooked correctly and so was my husband’s burger. Their green beans were, surprisingly, so good and nicely seasoned. We got the 2 for $25, so we got the mozzarella sticks app. Also hot and plenty of marinara. A+ from this location today!“

“Had a damn good time. Stopped in Saturday after spending the day at the racetrack outside of town to watch the Alabama / Georgia game, and we decided to try a bunch of their wings and drinks. The wings were awesome and perfectly fried, and all of the sauces we tried were delicious. I had plans to try other things on the menu while we were there, but 30 wings later, and I never made it any further. It's definitely a nice spot, and I see why all of the locals like it.“

“Our family just had an amazing restaurant experience at Red Robin in Edwardsville! Our son has Down syndrome and being in public places causes him a lot of anxiety. We haven’t been to a restaurant as a family in many years because the stress for him and everyone around him was just too much. On arrival the hostess was so accommodating! She let my husband look at the table options to see what would work best for our son. She worried about skipping over us on the wait list even though we were clear that we were totally fine with waiting for the table that worked best. The manager asked a server to take on an extra table so that we wouldn’t have to wait longer. Our server, Mason, was so kind to take on an extra table for us. Mason is an excellent server. He was very friendly with our boys, kept our drinks full, and brought our food and drinks very quickly. Our meals were delivered quick and delicious. “Place has been around 29 years for a reason. Best Steak Special in the country. $19.00 for a 16oz. Filet, potato, and green beans. And the Steak is as good as anywhere in this area. You definitely want to go eat there. And on Mondays they have 16 inch 1 topping pizzas from 2-Midnight.
