“Can't say regarding food, we were going to dine here, Google didn't warn us the kitchen closed early on a Saturday night. Appetizers were available, we were hungry tho and wanted a meal. Drinks were ok, don't think the kid behind the bar was well practiced yet so I'm not holding it against him and neither did anyone else. Crowd seemed to be likely a regular crowd and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The live music was good, however the singers girlfriend was front and center right up on him, if he's going to make it musically, that's a bad move, strictly speaking as a former band manager. Girlfriend, sit in the back and don't be the jealous type, musicians will make it known they're not available, if they as all typical couples really care about their relationship. All in all, I'd definitely come back if I'm around the area again, and make an point to come earlier so I can dine the fine looking menu! Lots to o here, billiards, slots, and many other things, didn't check out the back part so there may be even more surprises to this place.“

“Spectacular eatery! It was everything I hoped for and more! Have followed this place on Facebook for a while now and finally got the chance to try it! Right off the bat we had to park in the back, and there were like 10 people ahead of us in line so I KNEW it was going to be great! It's a tiny little place, maybe 10 tables at the most, and the decor is a little dated which is just what I want in a hometown mom and pop shop. It being so small also guarantees that you're surrounded by amazing smells that are sure to make your mouth water! It also means that the food and service is so good they haven't had to try to spruce up the place to attract business!After maybe a 10 minute wait to order it was finally our turn. I believe it was Lilly taking our order, and the only other employee I saw was, I assume, her husband preparing all the food. Some people would find something wrong with this; the owners doing all the work. But personally I feel it guarantees authentic hospitality and a high quality meal every time! Another 10 or so minute wait and it was our turn to get our order. I opened the bag and gently spread out our meal on the table. The cabbage roll was reminiscent of my German grandmother's, although slightly sweeter. The spinach pie wasn't as big as I would have hoped, but the amazing flavor made up for it! The fried mushrooms were nothing short of amazing. And, above all, the gyro had SUCH an amazing flavor and consistency! None of that thinly sliced pre-packaged crap I've gotten at other places. Thick, juicy hunks of meat topped with fresh veg and smothered in "Lilly's Sauce", all wrapped in a soft, warm pita. Folks, it just doesn't get much better than this.I had every intention of ordering a falafel and baklava, but we barely finished what we had ordered, so it simply means I HAVE to go back as soon as I'm in the area! Overall this place gets a 9.5/10, with the only thing lacking as far as I'm concerned being that you must walk around the outside to reach the bathrooms. I split a sandwich with an accompanying friend and our server very thoughtfully had split the check and our drink orders without us even asking- very impressive especially on a busy night! We had the Cuban and it was well prepared with crispy bread as it should be. Prices are in line with quality and quantity. Their cocktail menu is fun but most importantly the cocktails taste good. Our server, Tony, was great! He remained available even though we were focused on talking. My husband and I ordered the fish and chips. The fish is heavily breaded but the fish was cooked well. The fries are like slices rather then the typical long, thin pieces. They were nice and crispy. Our one friend ordered a salad --huge with lots (and lots) of lettuce. He was underwhelmed. His wife ordered a daily special. I didn't hear any review either way. Would we go again? Probably not. There was nothing inherently wrong with Syberg's other than their online menu was woefully out of date. There are just too many other exciting places to go in the Fairview Heights/O'Fallon area.“
“Met 6 friends here for our monthly dinner gathering. Many of them had dined here previously so they all knew they wanted order a gyro plate. I think 5 of them did that esp knowing that they would have enough to enjoy it again the next day. Chicken piccata was my selection. The chicken was very tender and tasty. I was surprised at how much pasta I had along with chicken. Sauce was very good too with plenty of mushrooms and sautéed onions in there. House salad comes with the entrees. I ordered saganaki for the table and we all enjoyed that. They didn't renew liquor license after Covid so they allow you to bring in your own wine, which of course we did. Our waitress was efficient esp considering she had a very party in another room. She seemed bristly initially but once you got her talking she was friendly.“

“I recently dined here with friends and our service, drinks, and food were absolutely phenomenal! I personally had the arancini, 8oz filet, cream corn gratin, and the mezcal margarita. The filet was seared and cooked to perfection. I didn’t even use the sauce they brought on the side. The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive and the chef (Body) came around to ask how our meal was as well. By the time we finished with our dinner and drinks it was approaching closing time and most places would be rushing you out the door. First of all to even see that mojitos were a choice was awesome & then when you get it & take your first drink of it, its like heaven. “I was excited to try Fusion. On this visit I tried the Indian cuisine. It was pretty good overall. Otgers had the cheeseburgers and both said they were really good. The server could not have been sweeter. However, we waited quite a while for them to take our order. Drinks didn't come until the meal was served. Asked for additional chips and never did receive them. I would not hesitate to go again. Hopefully they were just short handed on this visit.“

They do not have a variety of sauces but don't need them, their BBQ sauce is perfect just the way it is.“
