“The lemon meringue pie I had yesterday rates one star. There was no crust! Just filling.8$! Give me a brake, I advise you to watch them cut it in front of you at the counter. To make sure it's all there& you get what your paying for. The apple pie was excellent as usual!“

“My daughter's rehearsal dinner was held here last week. This place is so lovely!! The nostalgia is incredible!! Aside from the property being absolutely gorgeous, you are greeted by precious little front porch kitties which instantly warmed our hearts!! The food was so delicious!! I generally hate beets, but I deciced to give them a shot, and they were actually really yummy. Just an all around delicious country meal with all the fixings!! Ohhhh, let's not forget the dessert!!! YUM!!!! The staff was very kind and attentive also. It was just all around a great experience. We will be back!!“

“Out of all the eddies rise & dines this one is truly the best, the cleanest the most upbeat, the friendliest, the yummiest, i can go on and on about this place. i come in and there are always tons of other regulars here almost everytime i come in there is a reason for their loyalty its the staff the service & the food here :) i have been to every location with breese the original being the most disappointing the servers are rude the food is greasy and very bland i dont like the environment, the mascoutah location is just ran by people who dont care you feel the vibes as soon as you walk in they used to close 30 minutes before 7pm closing time would say takeouts only the servers are always very mouthy at this location cooks saying their out of hashbrowns but server said theres some in back they are just to lazy to go get it. i drive an extra 20 minutes from my house to go to highland eddies. i always get the western omelet ala-carte with a half order of biscuit and gravy my wife gets the steak platter with eggs home fries sourdough toast their sourdough is very good food always comes out hot and tasty. never is highland ever out of anything i am voting the highland location the best eddies the other ones need to step their game up! get better staffing all the way around at mascoutah and breese. also you guys get a free cone at the end of your meal and they are so yummy“

“We had a terrific experience last night. The atmosphere is extremely nice, what a wonderful setting! Our server was friendly and attentive. We both enjoyed our meals. The salads were great as were our entrees (steak on skewers and chicken). We will definitely be back!“

“The food is very good! We go there frequently and we have noticed over the past month some changes. After your food is delivered you never see a server again on the floor. If you want a drink refill or something else you have to go to the counter. I don’t know why the servers are only seen when delivering food then disappear to the kitchen. It never used to be that way. Not sure if policy has changed, staff cuts or what may have brought on these changes.“

The wings are always good as well. Danny does a great job as a server. We always try to get seated where he is. He’s friendly, he keeps glasses filled, and makes great recommendations.“
