“Ordered turkey white bean chili, bbq sand on brioche (both daily specials), rosemary jalapeño fries, breakfast burrito to share. I sampled all and absolutely delish! Each item tasted extraordinary. I love this place because everything I order is made with carefully crafted flavors and texture—down to the salsa served on the side of burrito. It was homemade and fresh—not jarred. Burrito stuffed with eggs, chorizo, bacon, and more—ordered mine without potato. Smoky, not too spicy—YUM! BBQ was tender and tasty but chunky and not stringy—how delightful! Fries are always great and I must order every time I go. Chili had nice chunks of succulent turkey—you could see and taste the turkey. This place never disappoints and gets better every time I go.“

“We came in for pasta night. Everything was fresh, MORE than enough food, a dessert was included and the atmosphere was top notch. We aren't drinkers so I can't speak to the taste of the cocktails but the glasses that passed our table were beautifully done, you can tell there is a lot of pride and skill that goes into the drink menu. “The sign on Lily's door statesthey are only open for lunch. From 11 AM to 2 PM Tuesday through Saturday. They're closed Sunday and Monday. When you walk in the door you're greeted with a warm smile and hello like you're an old friend or family. I got the gyro lunc special. It came with a 6 inch, gyro fries, and soft drink. You get one free refill with a soft drink. The gyro had so much meat on it I had to eat some of it before I could fold it up to eat it like standard gyro. The fries were fresh cut and straight out of the fryer. Everything was just amazing. You can't miss this place if you love Greek food.“

“My daughter and I ate at First Watch on January 25,2024, the food was good as always. So as we were leaving I went to pay and my daughter and granddaughter went to the car, my comes in and say mama I locked the keys in the car and my granddaughter is in there. She called O’Fallon police and so did one of the staff did as well. The police community service worker came out and tried unlocking the door for about 20 minutes, remind you my granddaughter is in there and it’s cold and raining. Next thing I know almost the whole staff came out and tried everything they can do because they seen we were out there for a long time. I finally got ahold of my insurance company and they sent someone out and they was able to unlock my door finally. Big shout out to the staff at First Watch for all your help, my daughter and I really appreciate you all ❤️“

“Had eggs, country fried steak, hash browns, toast and coffee. Gravy for the country fried steak was delicious. Other items were also tasty. Eggs perfectly cooked. Coffee was great. Service was prompt and staff friendly. Televisions on the wall so you can watch tv while eating. Couple next to me had an omelette and biscuits and gravy said they were delicious. Next time I’ll try their pancakes or French Toast.“

“One of my wife and I’s go-to spots whenever we’re in the mood for Mexican food. Whether we’re dining in or grabbing carryout, the food is always exceptional and very well priced.

The staff is consistently friendly when we eat in—quick with drink refills and never letting the salsa run low. Speaking of salsa, their house salsa is a solid 10/10.

“We stopped on our way from WI to TX to see what all the fuss was about. A butter burger sounded mouth-wateringly delicious. Honestly, it was just a burger, but the crinkle fries were hot and crisp and salty, and the cheese curds were zesty and fresh. And I got a mini flavor of the day frozen custard, b/c apparently frozen custard is a big deal up here, and when in Rome… anyway it was scrumptious and I wanted to lick the cup clean.

Best part of this place was friendliness of staff. After being in Wisconsin and Chicago, it was nice to finally be in an area where people are nice and actually respond to you when you say something! Big difference between northern and southern Illinois. We felt like we were getting closer to home (Texas).“

Last night neither of us enjoyed what we ordered, our fault, we both went against what we were going to originally order….we ate it, it’s fine, you live and learn. Our waitress is what left a bad taste. It’s like she instantly had something in her head about us or we weren’t one of her regulars that she had to cater to as she was sitting, laughing and chatting with those around us. Waited 10 more minutes , went inside , the line is out the door . Asked for my concrete, they handed me a completely melted cup of custard .... I asked for my money back. They had plenty of help , but no organization . They were all running around doing 2 or 3 different things , not organized at all, The manger was no where to be found .. I was told she was in the bathroom. When she finally came out , she had an I do nit really care what your complaint is attitude . The food, wait staff and jukebox is what brings us back. Was there today with my son who’s disabled. He hates getting out of the house, but loves the jukebox. (He likes singing to his favorite song (The Star Spangled Banner). The staff is attentive and a special shout out to Kim. We were celebrating a special weekend for me.
