“Excellent drinks and fun atmosphere“

“1st visit to MK Steak and we were very impressed. We were seated right away and started with wine and cocktails ( spicy Bees Knees was awesome!). Our server, Chelsea, was knowledgeable, friendly and tentative. Atmosphere was lively but not loud. Both our entrees were cooked to perfection. My husband, who knows his steaks, was pleasantly surprised to hear the steaks are from Meats by Linz. His steak was amazing- great flavor. I had the scallops, which were also very good. The baked French Onion soup was hot and cheese was nicely browned. We were too full for dessert but saw a few being served. So wish I had saved room! We will be back!“

We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it“

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

It's usually pretty easy to get a table, the staff is helpful with recommendations and I love the "secret" feel of it. I recommend it to anyone who wants a night out without a long line or wait. You won't be disappointed!“

“My wife and I watched the bears vs packers game. Great atmosphere and fun time watching the game. However, BOTH bathrooms had issues and one urinal overflowed causing a mess. When the game was over and we left, we were blocked in by someone who made up a parking spot in the back of the lot. Multiple people made up spots all over the lot. When I addressed the issue with the front desk and spoke with the manager, they did nothing and said to call the police. It is not up to the customer to manage your property. I thought it was a joke of a response when a concern was raised.“

Went back second time with a relative, got the shrimp diablo......should have taken the server's advice about the heat, but I didn't, therefore I suffered 🥲 the consequence......she was awesome though and had the heat taken down for me. Owner came out to greet guests and was super sweet. This place is a hidden jewel that has some of the best Mexican food in the area. “Stayed at the doubletree hotel and was very pleasantly surprised how great the food was at Osteria Italian restaurant. We dined here two nights in a row because it was so delicious. Julio our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Made our first evening at the restaurant memorable. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and Caesar salad. It was wonderful. I had plenty of leftovers and can’t wait to enjoy the other half when I get home. My husband ordered rigatoni with chicken and the soup of the day. He had plenty left over for another meal also. Had two Tiramisu martinis and unfortunately ran out of room for dessert. The second night we sat in the bar for happy hour. Joey, the manager remembered us and made us feel like we were friends dining at his home. Handsome gentleman and incredibly friendly. Tony the bartender managed a full bar of people yet was very available to take our order. Happy hour is a great deal with $7 martinis and affordable large appetizers. Luckily we saved room to share a piece of Tiramisu. Absolutely divine. Can’t wait for our next visit to Chicago to dine here again. Highly recommended.“

The martinis and crafted cocktails were as delicious as they were beautiful. Appetizers were delicious and the portion size was great- don't miss the brussel sprouts! Now the sushi... wow- creative and meticulously prepared rolls and sashimi with a menu that has something for everyone-- and the vegan options are incredible! Can't wait to come back. If Jordyn is bringing your food to your table you can be sure you will have everything you need. She is one of the most hardworking individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting and her work ethic will leave you astounded. “It was weekday afternoon, not crowded at all, and service was extremely slow. After our order was taken, it took a while, and food came out lukewarm. We let the server know, he replaced the fries. I've never had that happen and was quite surprised at the service. Not sure what was going on.“

“This hotel is perfectly located roughly equidistant between O’Hare and Wrigley. Depending on the time and day, you can get a very reasonably-priced Uber ride to either location. It is also within walking distance of several great restaurants. Le Meridian is clean and modern, and in a very safe area. Our room on the second floor was also very clean and modern. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downsides: no free coffee in the morning, a bit noisy at night, and the mattress is so comfortable, it makes me realize how uncomfortable my mattress is at home!“

“This place is absolutely bonkers. Went on the weekend for late brunch. It was packed and had a long wait time but it was worth it. The staff is really polite kind and helpful. They make changes if needed. Very accommodating. The food itself is really amazing. We got the skillets, pancakes and french toast. They were all delicious! And huge portion size. Pretty decent priced, even though it's a bit on the higher end. Limited parking depending what time of the day you come in. Definitely recommended for a good family/friends breakfast.“

“I had made a reservation for what I thought was Water's Edge, but it turns out it was the Hyatt Lodge restaurant. Apparently, they share the same space, but Water's Edge only serves lunch. That was a bit confusing, especially since no employee was there to greet and seat us. So be aware of that. There were only two waiters, which was fine since it was not very crowded, but it took a few minutes before either of them acknowledged our presence. After that all went well. The food was delicious, waiter service was fine, and dining on the outside patio by the small lake was quite nice on a perfect weather day. A table umbrella to shade us from the sun would have been nice, though. I will definitely dine there again.“

“We were in town for a basketball tournament, with a group of 22, and their staff accommodated our entire group! From the hostess, to our waitress, to whom I believe was the manager (tall gentleman), they were fantastic! The food, was delicious!!! Serving sizes were generous and their drinks were great as well. “This was me and my husband’s first time this morning back at Hizemans since we moved. The drinks were not as good as we remembered… The food was great although it was a wait. Even though it was a very very BUSY restaurant! Understandably so.

Our server Katie took great care of us was very friendly attentive, and it is clear that she cared for her customers. Any issues was taken care of immediately with her . 10/10 SERVICE!
