“Random visit with my girlfriend she wanted a turkey sub, I was good until I came in and saw she got the best service ever!! I ordered a steak sub and we got free cookies!! They were patient and nice and fresh!! We don’t go to subway for subs but this was a nice quick move.“

“Great cheesesteak. A nice change from the usual gyro, hotdog, or burger and open late for another option besides Portillos in the area. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the mood for a change like I was!! Would only recommend takeout though…inside is nice but the whole place smells like diesel fuel because of the fuel tanks under ground in the gas station lots surrounding Charley’s….only disappointing take away. I’d get a headache eating inside for sure.

Parking: Only a few spots so take out is a better option.“

“I’ve been eager to try Mortadeli since it first opened, and after hearing so many rave reviews, I finally had the chance to stop by for lunch yesterday. Let me tell you, everything everyone says about this place is spot on! First off, the food is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is so tempting, it was hard to choose, but I went with the meatball sub and pasta salad. As someone whose grandmother made the best meatball sandwiches, my expectations were high – but Mortadeli’s version did not disappoint! It was fantastic. The pasta salad was also amazing, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere at Mortadeli is incredibly inviting – it strikes the perfect balance between classy and cozy. The staff are very friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about making your experience special. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff and quick delivery of our food. One of the owners even took the time to chat with us a bit. Another pleasant surprise was the parking – I had my doubts at first, but we found a spot just around the corner with no problem at all. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be back. Mortadeli is a must-visit!“

“I work for ALDI corporate, and we've had Rammys cater our team building event in Elk Grove for three years now. Their subs are AMAZING, they are a breeze to work with and so friendly. My group loves the subs, the bread is fresh and don't get me started on the turtle brownies. On a personal note, the tuna sub is superb. Im very picky about tuna salad and I loved every bite. Run, do not walk, to Rammys.“

“We were at a neighboring business and decided to try this out. What a stroke of luck? This place is great! The menu is divided into 5 sections. Cold Deli, Off the Grill, Create your own Dagwood, Veggie, and Wraps / Salads. I got the grilled Classic Italian on multi grain bread . The bread was substantial to hold up to the meat, but not dry. The sandwich overall was on the messy side, so be ready with some napkins. My brother got the Philly Cheese Steak, we are not from the east coast, so cannot validate the authenticity of the Philly portion of the name but he said it was a darn good sandwich and they did not skimp on the meat. My husband got the cold Ham & Swiss, but the staff offered to serve it hot. We also tried cheese bread with tomato sauce. This was OK. It would have been a fine snack, but the sandwiches turned out to be so big (we each got regular size - the large must be huge!), we really did not need the appetizer. The fries are "fresh-cut," and they really mean it! There is a hopper of russet potatoes (I guess about 50 potatoes) right next to the fryer. We did each have a chocolate chunk cookie (we really only had a bite of it because we were full), they are really spot-on with the "chunk" - the chocolate was substantial peices. A tasty end to the meal.“

“The subs here are amazing—great cuts of meat, excellent flavor, and overall really high quality. My only complaint is the salad. I ordered one and it was mediocre at best: basically just shredded iceberg with a handful of black olives, a few pickles, and some cucumbers. For nearly $8, it felt like a rip-off considering I could’ve bought a whole bag of shredded iceberg at Juul for about a dollar. Iceberg doesn’t have flavor (it’s basically water), and while their vinaigrettes are delicious, they’d be much better served over a spring mix or microgreens. Bottom line: go here for the subs—the meatballs especially are phenomenal, I’d eat a whole bowl of them with gravy. But skip the salad, it’s not worth it.“

“Every time I’ve been in the guy who is there is the same and I forget to ask his name but he’s not only very friendly but knowledgeable and ready to make suggestions every time. It’s as if he knows how intimidating making all the decisions to get a sub made. He suggests things such as my bread choice for the turkey sub I ordered and he said he loves the rosemary with it and he was right! It was delicious. Keep up the good work and care for your customers sir and next time I’ll get your name! :)“

“I stopped with my family for a quick bite to eat for lunch as we are passing through the Chicago area. The food was delicious, flavorful, high quality. The tuna, Italian and roast beef sandwiches were all a hit with my family. Quick drive off 294 with ample parking. Would definitely stop again!“

“Great lunch spot in downtown Wheaton for a quick bite. The sandwiches are a very good and generous sized. I really like the grinders and panini when I want a hot sandwich. Great service & staff! There is outdoor seating so we can bring our dog when the weather is nice. It can get crowded on weekends around lunchtime, especially in the warmer months.

Parking: Plenty of street parking is available if you can find a spot. During busy times in Wheaton, I recommend the free parking garage, it is centrally located and only minutes walk to any of the attractions. It is maybe a 2 minute walk to the deli.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here! Lots of families visit Shane's because of the very kid friendly menu.“

“I really like toasted subs, so the food is really good in my opinion. The speed is variable, even when there are not too many people in the store. I recommend ordering ahead on the app and picking up your food to make it faster. The staff are really nice though.“

“Jersey Mike's -Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. We are super picky about where we get sub sandwiches. Jersey Mike's fits the bill every time. Oakbrook Terrace is our favorite location because of Alicia. The food and smiles she serves is top notch. I'll add some photos in the future but for now, trust me the sandwiches are filled beautifully. Alicia runs the show here from top to bottom. I can't say enough about her fantastic presence. People have unlimited places to purchase sandwiches --- it really helps bring in customers when they can expect to see a long time employee there with such great energy.. “Normally I write super long reviews and stuff, but what I do have to say pretty much is what anything could be said about a great subway location. I honestly just wanted to mention that I'm happy this place is open 24 hrs. In a world after COVID where most places have still refused to stay open all night, at least certain Subway locations have decided to keep staying open all night long for us night shifters.

Many thanks to the staff who are always friendly when I come in, the food is perfect, very clean and welcoming. Keep up the amazing work everyone!

Ooooooonly thing I'll say, but this goes for Subway as a whole, are those prices that are still way too expensive. Jimmy John's is still the more affordable and fresher tasting imo. Again nothing against this location, I know this goes for all of Subway, but jeez. Also the app is so laggy, definitely could be better executed.“

When I went there around 6 p.m., the night crew was fantastic—professional, quick, and friendly. The salad was just perfect! I’ve been visiting every other day for their salads, and I honestly give the staff a five-star rating — they’re the best! I’ll be stopping by again this Friday to get another salad.“
