39 Best Chicken Restaurants near Glenview

“Really enjoyed the chicken here! The soy garlic and snow onion chicken were both tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The flavors were delicious without being overwhelming. The tteokbokki was also perfect. The spice level had just the right amount of kick. Service was also speedy and awesome.“

“Came there on a Sunday after swim class and ordered a slider with fries. Awesome! Wonderfully prepared! The cashier Jeniah was incredible on helping me choose my order. And the supervisor Sam was great! Thank you for the wonderful customer service“

“Honestly one of the best fried chicken spots in Niles! The chicken was super crispy from the outside and juicy inside 🔥 The seasoning is on point and the fries are fresh and well-seasoned.

The place is clean, service is fast, and the staff are friendly. Perfect spot if you’re craving comfort food or a quick bite.

Definitely coming back again and highly recommended! 👍🍗🍟“

Don’t miss the loaded fries and their signature sauces — 10/10!“

“Great regular and Spicy fried chicken, plus I love that they serve gravy to dip your chicken in“

“Came in today with our big family and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, and the management truly cared about making sure we had a great time. We tried just about everything on the menu, and our favorites were the smash burger and the nachos. We even tried their boba tea, and it was delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served with great hospitality. Highly recommend—we’ll definitely be back!“

“We used to go to their old location all the time when we lived in the city, so we were excited to check out the new location now that we have kids—and it did not disappoint!

The fried chicken and biscuits were delicious, and the portions were huge. The kids’ play area with books, trucks, Connect 4 and more was an awesome surprise, plus the kids got fun crazy straws! It’s genuinely kid-friendly without sacrificing great food.

And the $2 beers with a meal were an unexpectedly awesome deal. Great food, great prices, and a perfect family spot. We’ll definitely be back! 🍗🍺“

“Amazing salads and even more amazing people!“

“I have seen these place at my fyp i decide to come in 10 mins waiting for a 12 sandwich is a bit crazy
I try it nice heat but not hot for a 10 kind I was expecting hotter
I appreciate the 30 napkins place I. The bag
I like the atmosphere and kitchen was undercontrol but no hospitality as my POV“

“Awesome food here good service and very friendly staff makes you feel welcomed more than any other fast food place“

“Nandos Peri Peri is incredible. I appreciate the kindness of the staff and managers towards me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. GM Austin and Liz is very nice. Amazing lemon chicken. Must come back. 10/10.“

“A casual Korean fried chicken spot known for crispy, flavorful wings with a variety of sauces. The food is fresh and popular for takeout or quick dining. Very convenient, located near a train station—especially helpful for those without a car. We especially like the galbi boneless chicken and cheesy fries.“

“Its great place for chicken sandwiches and fries. I had the spicy delux chicken with Mac and Cheese and fries. The Mac and cheese was a bit cold and tasted like KFC Mac and cheese. The fries were crispy and hot, A+. The sandwich had a nice crispness to it, and had nice flavor, it's not spicy for me at all, but still could for some who can't have spicy. The sandwich wasn't soggy either, like other chicken sandwiches, where the breading feels cold or soggy. This one felt fresh and crisp. Will go back soon to try their other options like the fried chicken, and maybe even their spaghetti to try out.“

“Truly an awesome surprise, decided to order on a whim and found the best chicken tenders I've ever had in my life, not exaggerating. Really happy I happen to live close to here. The two owners are very nice and friendly. Do yourself a favor and try Ciao Chow“

“Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Not so busy at 5pm but as soon as our food was served many people came for their takeouts. This is a store with more than 35 year old history. They established their reputation with very solid presentation of food. Chicken was crispy but not oily. Drums, wings, and thighs are all great. Fries too. They made fries using the same oil to fry the chicken I believe. They also offer multiple choices of fried fish but they came a bit oily.
They also have options for vegetarians! Their Greek salad was so fresh! I asked to remove the cheese and put the sauce on the side and they were able to accommodate it. The cucumbers were sweet and bell peppers were crispy.
Highly recommended.“

“We tried the Halal Chicken Burger at Byrd's Hot Chicken. The burger tasted good, but it wasn't particularly memorable or mouthwatering.

The burger came with fries, and they were the highlight of the meal. They were crispy, flavorful, and tasted really good. We would definitely order the fries again on our next visit.

Overall, it was a good experience. The burger was decent, but the fries were the standout item.“

“I didn’t dine, but it was decent sized space. The host was very receptive as soon I walked in to pick my order. Very great service from initial experience. The food was delicious especially the fried chicken. The Rose Deokkbokki was really great as well. The Kimchi Fried rice hit the spot for sure. Very genuine Korean tasting food.“

“I went for the first time and it blew me away. It was quiet at this time and we were the first orders of the day, but the food came fairly quickly. I ordered the Byrd bomb and it was a very generous portion as I had hoped. The sauce is amazing, and the chicken is flavorful and cooked to perfection. The fries are amazing with the seasoning, and the toast was warm and buttery. Extremely satisfied overall, will come back again!“

“Such a great place! The chicken was absolutely delicious**—fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. I love their hamburgers, which was one of the best I’ve had!** The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, and the portions were great. Definitely a place worth trying. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍔🍗“

“I had mixed feelings about my visit to Port of Peri Peri. The food was honestly excellent and full of flavor, so I have no complaints about the quality of the meal itself.

However, the customer service really let the experience down. The staff didn't seem friendly or welcoming, and when I asked questions, they either didn't respond properly or didn't seem interested in helping. The dining area also looked like it needed more attention—several tables were greasy and didn't appear to be cleaned promptly, which made eating in feel a bit unhygienic.

If you're planning to try this place, I'd recommend ordering takeout instead of dining in. The food is definitely worth trying, but I think the overall dine-in experience and cleanliness could use significant improvement. This keeps the review balanced by praising the food while clearly describing the issues you experienced.“

“Food was great. Always is! The main issue is the cleanliness of the dining area and lack of aesthetic appeal. You guys make a killing. Invest in your diner and get your workers more help. They do as much as they can! Great crew! Paint your walls. Decorate the store. Get better seats. Scared more don’t make no $.“

“Great place for grilled chicken . The side dishes are also good. Friendly staff always on point;)“

“I order Daves Hot Chicken ALL the time.. Always get door dash and the order is always 💯. Today I went and ordered carry out, and I haven’t done that since they first opened, as well as when it was my first time.
I never write reviews but I had to make it known;
Jose took my order & it was a BIG order, with a couple precise requests…not only was he quick but was very patient with me! He made sure everything was all correct and on point! Super appreciative of that because its rare now adays getting customer service that goes above & beyond.
So this employee was definitely an absolute rockstar!. Overall experience was 10/10; as well as the food of course!💯‼️“

“Best waffle fries AND Market Salads with Apple Cider vinegarette dressing are a lovely combo!!! Great service and very well run with a strong management team.“

“Stopped by Chick-fil-A in the Irving Park/Addison area while passing through Chicago. Like most Chick-fil-A locations, the food itself was good and consistent — the chicken sandwich was fresh, crispy, juicy, and exactly what you expect from the brand. The waffle fries were hot and well seasoned, and the service moved relatively quickly despite the restaurant being quite busy. Staff were polite and professional, which is something Chick-fil-A usually does better than most fast-food chains.

That said, the experience was disappointing overall because the bathroom was closed during our visit. When you’re traveling, especially with kids and family, access to a restroom is not a small issue — it becomes part of the overall customer experience. After driving around the city and stopping specifically to eat and take a break, finding out the washroom was unavailable was frustrating and inconvenient. There didn’t seem to be much communication around it either, which made it even more disappointing.

The restaurant itself appeared fairly clean and organized, and you could tell the staff were trying to keep up with the flow of customers. But for such a high-traffic location, basic amenities really matter. It changes how comfortable and welcoming the experience feels, especially for families, travelers, or anyone stopping in during a long day.

I’ll still say the food quality and customer service were better than many other fast-food places, which is why I’m not giving it a lower rating. But the closed restroom definitely impacted the visit enough to bring the overall experience down.

Overall: good food, decent service, but the lack of restroom access made the stop far less convenient than it should have been.“

“great customer service thanks again!“

“Roger's Wing is a fantastic neighborhood staple that consistently delivers high-quality, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying wings every single time. It is exactly the kind of reliable local spot you want for a quick, delicious meal, and their wings are always fresh, well-prepared, and hit the spot perfectly. I place an incredibly high premium on kitchen cleanliness and dining area maintenance, and I am consistently struck by how tidy, well-organized, and professionally managed this establishment is—it is clear they take great pride in maintaining a sanitary and welcoming environment for their customers. The staff is consistently friendly, efficient, and genuinely attentive, ensuring that service is always prompt and professional, even during busier times. If you are looking for a top-tier quick-service experience with a real commitment to quality and cleanliness, I highly recommend stopping by Roger's Wing—it is a consistently excellent choice for a great, worry-free meal“

“Rep Aniqa provided exceptional service. Took my in-person order and also assisted me with making an online order utilizing Popeyes’ App. My order was efficiently completed! Very customer-service oriented with a great disposition!“

“The food was great! Hot, fresh, krispy, and fast! I’d recommend giving this location a visit, ask for Raj. His customer service was exceptional, he recommend what would be a better deal regarding quantity and cost. Raj made sure I knew exactly what was included in my meal and that my order was done right!“

“the pasta was good. nothing else was ready. I don't eat pork anyway. nice to know it's by Jewel. literally. good luck. welcome to the neighborhood.“
