The decor was inviting, and the woman working there was incredibly friendly and entertaining, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious, the portions were great for the price, and everything felt very reasonably priced. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I’d definitely recommend giving it a visit.“

“Hong Kong House - How Happy I am to have you opened again! The ONLY Chinese Restaurant in the Alton area that serves REAL Chinese Veggies in their meals - NOT frozen peas, carrots, & corn. I ordered the Veggie Fried Rice - served with thinly sliced carrots, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, baby corn, and bamboo shoots just to name a few. “The beef lo mein was the best I've ever tasted. Huge portions, plenty of beef and wide variety of vegetables. The staff was friendly and my order only took 10 mins, which was great considering I was a walk in customer. Crab Rangoon was delicious and crispy not greasy. Plus the Almond Cookies were fresh.😁“

Both times food was ready within 15 minutes and quick. Crab Rangoon here is fantastic, not the small pre-made ones. They are good sized and fresh.
