“Food was great! We did the all you can eat and thoroughly enjoyed the sushi and the beef we got to cook ourselves. The staff made sure to explain to us how it worked since it was our first time at a place like this. Wasn't the best quality sushi but decent for an all you can eat bbq and sushi spot! Highly recommend with friends. Tables are a good size as well!“

“Had this wonderful BBQ delivered to work today. It is so yummy! The meat was fall apart in your mouth, full of flavor goodness! The beans were so tasty. The brisket had the perfect flavor and texture, the ribs were very meaty and flavorful as well! I cannot rate service or atmosphere but I know I will be getting this food again with my family. We will be going there to check out more items on the menu! Can't wait! Some of the best BBQ I've ever had! 👍“

“Driving past and saw that this was opening I am assuming it is the karate boys from Canada. I tried it there a few weeks ago. I’m hoping just just as great here.
The only tip I would give the restaurant is the Naans weren’t that great they weren’t like true Naans and secondly, I think Canadian Indian food is second best in the world after England so no slight on the Indian food here but it’s nowhere near the standard. I am looking forward to trying this place eventually when it opens and read reviews are based on food, service, ambience and quality.“

“Fanflippintastic this place is. Love Korean food so I was looking at places that'll serve solo customers. After reading reviews, I chose this spot. I was a little nervous going in because plenty of korean places only allow a party of 2 minimum and some that allow singles, treat those single customers much differently than parties. But not this place. They greeted me warmly and made sure to keep checking in on me from time to time. They gave me free food to try right when they brought my meat order to be grilled. Had a lovely conversation with one of the staff and gave a great tip. I paid in cash so they gave me a delicious ice cream. Ive got to say that is was also super fantastic along with everything I ordered. I even ordered Tteokbokki to go.“

“Not only have I loved Hawthornes from when I was a kid growing up in West Chicago! It was the PERFECT place to have my wedding. Lou, Heidi and Kelly did fantastic and helped make my dream come alive! Every question I had they answered and were able to accommodate so much! Heidi was in CONSTANT communication with me and was able to give advice and help me through the whole process. Her suggestions were so helpful and she helped during the ceremony and reception. I could not have done it without them. This place treats you like family and has amazing service! When my husband and I went to pick up our things the next morning we were planning on taking 2 trips and Lou let us borrow his truck that is how amazing and friendly they are! WE LOVE YOU HAWTHORNES! “My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items!
