“Every time I’ve been in the guy who is there is the same and I forget to ask his name but he’s not only very friendly but knowledgeable and ready to make suggestions every time. It’s as if he knows how intimidating making all the decisions to get a sub made. There is outdoor seating so we can bring our dog when the weather is nice. It can get crowded on weekends around lunchtime, especially in the warmer months.

Parking: Plenty of street parking is available if you can find a spot. During busy times in Wheaton, I recommend the free parking garage, it is centrally located and only minutes walk to any of the attractions. It is maybe a 2 minute walk to the deli.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here! Lots of families visit Shane's because of the very kid friendly menu.“

I went on to explain that I hadn’t ordered or been inside a Potbelly in years and the gentleman behind the counter went to thank me and welcome me back and invited me to help myself to some cookies on the house! “The two gentlemen there on August 4, 2024 at 10:30 am were extremely welcoming and were super fast. They made sure our rewards were scanned so we could get points which I would have forgotten about. I had modifications with our sandwiches which they took care of with no problem and were made perfectly. They made sure our sandwiches also had sufficient napkins/packets of sauce in the bag. It’s refreshing to have such friendly service thank you!!“

“I went to this place for the hotdog special, two hotdogs, drink and fries. I order three specials, and the guy asked me if I needed a six 6 hot dogs 🌭. 😂. And I say I need three special with the two hotdogs, fries and drink, and he kept asking me if I needed a six hotdog. He asked me two more times and I have to agree with a guy. Yes, I needed to six hotdogs!!!! I told this guy to put the hot peppers on the side, but he told me that he already have them on the hog dogs by the time I ask him so he couldn’t remove the damn hot peppers which is a shame because I don’t want the peppers on the hotdogs I want him on the side very very fast no doubt about that, but if you tell them how you decide to have your hotdogs don’t count on that“

“I eat here nearly 3x a week and this is the best Subway I’ve been to in the state and I used to work at a Subway. The two girls here are friendly and do such a great job. Every time I visit, the location is clean, the bread and cookies are fresh and not stale, and the portions are correct. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews, I’ve never had a single problem here. The other locations always fall short in one of these aspects or more.“

Subway now has Pepsi products this was my first subway I’ve been to since the switch was made from Coca Cola products.
Deducting one star because she tried to deny my coupon at first even though it said nothing about a 6 inch breakfast sub being excluded at all and I’ve used those coupons before many times on breakfast sub.
Also I did not ask for the flatbread itself to be toasted because that makes it hard but she toasted it anyway. She double toasted it actually. And she was a little cheap on the amount of ingredients added , I had to ask for more green pepper for example because she only put like 2 little slivers of it at first.“
