“Chill little place. They know their demographic and location too to have very specific hours, prices are decent if ur looking for something to eat without it being a full course meal. I've had the caprese so far and while it was a little drippy it was good. Seems like you have to avoid the peak hours though because it will get packed so either show up at opening or near closing.“

“Every time I’ve been in the guy who is there is the same and I forget to ask his name but he’s not only very friendly but knowledgeable and ready to make suggestions every time. It’s as if he knows how intimidating making all the decisions to get a sub made. There is outdoor seating so we can bring our dog when the weather is nice. It can get crowded on weekends around lunchtime, especially in the warmer months.

Parking: Plenty of street parking is available if you can find a spot. During busy times in Wheaton, I recommend the free parking garage, it is centrally located and only minutes walk to any of the attractions. It is maybe a 2 minute walk to the deli.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here! Lots of families visit Shane's because of the very kid friendly menu.“

“I went to this place for the hotdog special, two hotdogs, drink and fries. I order three specials, and the guy asked me if I needed a six 6 hot dogs 🌭. 😂. And I say I need three special with the two hotdogs, fries and drink, and he kept asking me if I needed a six hotdog. He asked me two more times and I have to agree with a guy. Yes, I needed to six hotdogs!!!! I told this guy to put the hot peppers on the side, but he told me that he already have them on the hog dogs by the time I ask him so he couldn’t remove the damn hot peppers which is a shame because I don’t want the peppers on the hotdogs I want him on the side very very fast no doubt about that, but if you tell them how you decide to have your hotdogs don’t count on that“

“This past Sunday I ordered some sandwiches and soup for my whole family and received a very warm welcome upon entering the shop. I was actually caught off guard as to how friendly I was greeted. I went on to explain that I hadn’t ordered or been inside a Potbelly in years and the gentleman behind the counter went to thank me and welcome me back and invited me to help myself to some cookies on the house! Thank God there are still some friendly humans in our communities. This man had an excellent attitude and personality, and provided great service. I will be back in the near future. There are couple other subways near by, but I still have take my time to drive to this location because of their service and food quality.
