“A childhood memory in Chicago! I brought my husband to experience Gayetys. The charm when we walked in and then the SMELL OF YUMMY CHOCOLATE was a Zen moment!!! We toured the counters then dived into purchases! We had no time for ice cream but we will be back. We did have a piece of chocolate each at home ohhhhh yum. I had the taffy apple for dessert it was like no other. This is a must to visit.“

I’ve seen several people either leave or take their business next door because of it. “They make great shakes. It's one of our go to places, but it is a carryout place. The parking is limited and most people use the drive through to carryout. They have three umbrella seating benches usually being used, so don't count on sitting there. But, the shakes are sure to please.“
