“I had the Beautiful Disaster for the Sunday Brunch. I also took home a full slab of Ribs and their homemade sauce. All of it was outstanding. The French Toast with Bacon at the bottom of the Disaster was amazing. The Ribs and sauce were out of this world. I will be back!!!“

BBQ with great smokiness and flavor. we come here often and love the brisket Chile, ribs, smoked turkey and of course those amazing burgers. last time I was there it was $5 Burger night and it's amazing that they can serve a great smoky burger on fresh roll with fries for this price. full bar with a good selection of beers“

“There’s lots of options to choose from (more on the sweeter side). Heads up, this is a grab and go bakery, therefore, there is no indoor seating (only a bar to stand at outside). They will also not heat up the pastries :/

It did not really taste like it had chocolate… it was still delicious, but it tasted more like an apples strudel and banana bread mix—yummy but not chocolate babka lol

The smoked ham brown grainy mustard + Gruyère croissant ($7.50) ⭐️2/5
This didn’t hit it for me :/ If you know you love gruyère cheese, then I say give it a go, if you’re unsure, probably try something else?

A bit on the drier side and I felt that they skimped on the chocolate a bit. But it was a delicious pastry

This was yummy and an easy to-go eat. I wish there was a bit more cheese tho

“City Barbeque food never disappoints. We drove all the way up here just to get good food. We miss the one they use to have in downers grove and in Berwyn. “So glad I noticed it walking by and came back with my husband for dinner. The menu has lots of choices but we were only two so will have to check out different options next time. We each had dinners, he choosing 1/2 baby back ribs, Mac and cheese, cornbread. I had 1/2 slab brisket, Mac and cheese and collard greens. Side portions were generous and the collard greens were fantastic! Mac and cheese was terrific and the meats were just perfect. Service was great and price was just as great. Washed it all down with classic Margaritas. Great addition to neighborhood in same spot Fat Willy’s left when closed for good.“

“It's been a long while since I've been at this District Brew Yards location and I don't remember Lillie's Q. Pictured here is a Pimento Cheese Sausage Link ($8 and a style I've never tasted before 5/5), half a pound of Brisket ($17, probably one of the best I've had 5/5), both come with a side of onions and pickles, and ordered sides of Coleslaw ($4, dry, not creamy 3/5) and Mac & Cheese ($6, which was average 2.5/5). Not a huge fan of how the BBQ sauce packets came, pictured here - opted for Hot Smoky and Smoky Barbecue Sauce. A bit pricey but was filling. Would like to try the Tri-Tip, Hot Link, and Chicken Wings next visit.

Such a great place, where you cook the wagyu & kobe beef at your table. The food was delicious ?

Isao Tozuka, the chef and his wife Chiyo-san, are fabulous hosts, very friendly, and really happy to help and show you how things are do e.

Tips where good but a little overcooked (kinda tough) but the excellent BBQ sauce saved them. Owner was super friendly though and the service was quick considering it's a one man operation.
