“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

“We’re huge fans of The Bear, which steered us here on our Chicago trip - so glad we found this place! We loved the mushroom adobo and longnanisa breakfast sandwich! The mango tarts were amazing, as were our lattes. We left with an apple hand pie to eat the following morning, which was still had perfectly crispy pastry. Definitely worth the hour wait to get in.“

“Came upon this restaurant from a recommendation by the show store clerk at Alamo two blocks away. Amazing food. What a gem. The falafel was so so good and the danish pastry filled with meat and cheese was out of this world delicious. We had something Falafal Lala or something like that. Sorry I am probably butchering the name. Really loved the taste .there were small potatoes in a garlick sauce that was a new tangy taste that I loved“

“Celebrated my wife’s birthday here with three other families, as we were in Chicago between baseball tournaments. Not only was Coda di Volpe able to accommodate a same day reservation for a large party, but they went above and beyond, from personalizing menus with a birthday wish, to adding a special touch on dessert. With four teenage boys in tow, the menu provided ample carbs and comfort for them while we enjoyed a broad sample of the offerings - all were very happy with their meals! Cocktails and wine selection was also on the mark. Kudos to Jeremy and his staff. We came all dressed in white and he told us he knew he wanted to do something special for our party… they knocked it out of the park! Looking forward to coming back to Chicago and making a beeline for this restaurant… a no-brainer.“

“This place is the coolest bar I have been to in a long time, hip and fun but not pretentious. They paid attention to every detail when building and designing. The white marbel bar has clean lines and looks fresh. All of the hardware finishes look sharp and clean. The patio is large and inviting with a fire place and plenty of tables to sit at. The drink menu is creative and refreshing and the staff is kind and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a bar. I am excited to hang out this fall on the patio by the fireplace with good drink in My hand.“

“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Great atomosphere cool concept like how they call out the alcohol and food orders when Ready. The pimento Mac was great flavor, as was the mashed and gravy. Very unique to have boneless breast thighs wing and leg portions battered and fried. Was very good. I just think the sauces were way to pricey at $1.45 a sauce wow even 99 cents seems a lot but would feel better lol. At least give one with the order or reduce the sauce price. But overall they need to spread this concept into more areas for sure out side like in the suburbs“

The atmosphere was lively but still cozy — the kind of spot that feels perfect for catching up over good food and drinks. I ordered the Monarch cocktail and the signature Gretel Griddle Burger, and both were amazing. The Monarch was perfectly balanced — refreshing, smooth, and beautifully made. The burger absolutely lived up to the hype: juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. “A great new spot for brunch! My husband and I went and it was busy but we were able to sit right away. I'm gluten free and I LOVE that everything is labeled with an easy to read GF symbol so it helps me identify what I can and can't eat. The gluten free buttermilk pancakes were excellent. My husband had the corn beef skillet and he said his bloody mary was great as well! We'll definitely be back! Felisa was super friendly and made sure to answer my questions about gluten precautions.“

“When I think about our trip to Chicago, the first thing that comes to mind, is Bang Bang Pies. I have never been in awe of such a place. The staff was so kind and patient. We had the most DELICIOUS pie and breakfasts I can ever recall. I can’t remember what my husband got because I am still drooling over the BLT with those earth shattering tomatoes that tasted like heaven. The biscuits were top notch and melted like butter in your mouth. And the pie! Oh my god that pie. It was the plum blackberry pie that I just know, I’ll never be able to recreate that as much as I would love to. Being from south Louisiana and having such amazing food up north was so unexpected and a wonderful surprise for us. Once we financially recover from all the money we spent while on our honeymoon (one of the reasons we were in Chicago) I’m ordering every single item online that I possibly can because I need to make sure that I can enjoy this place from home.“

The beers are awesome pretty much across the board, and the inside is all exposed brick and coziness - definitely makes you want to sit a spell and tip a few beers back.

I absolutely love that Maplewood now has *hop water* 🙌🏼 (several hop water flavors to choose from, actually) and a bunch of infused seltzers to choose from, in addition to the beer and spirits.
And I *adore* that Maplewood loves pugs!! I’ve yet to meet a pug there for some scritches over a brew, but we all gotta have goals amirite?? 🤭🐶

“My husband and I decided to try this restaurant, and we were absolutely impressed! It quickly became one of our favorite sushi spots in Chicago. The service was excellent, the place was super clean and cozy, and our food arrived really fast. Everything tasted amazing fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. “We were able able to make a reservation via Google, and when we arrived they were expecting us. The staff is really nice, took our drink order right away (coffee and waters) and then our food order soon after. I loved my endless cup of coffee and banana crepes. One person ordered chiquillas, which looked great. We added meat sides later, which came right away. The bill was totally reasonable (no separate checks tho, FYI), and everyone left full and happy.“
