“I went here for the first time and my experience was great all around. The restaurant was extremely clean. The employees were super friendly. It didn’t take too long to get my order and everything was hot/fresh and delicious. They didn’t have one of the items I ordered, but they were accommodating in offering other options.

My second visit wasn’t as great. When I got there, the drive thru and lobby had NO customers. So I decided to run in and grab my order. I had a small order. I ended up waiting 15 minutes for my order. Which wouldn’t have been a problem. Except in the time I was waiting, I saw 3 or 4 cars come through the drive thru, order, AND receive their food. All while I was still waiting for my order to be prepared. I was there first, plus I had ordered ahead, so I feel like my order should have been worked on first. It seemed like they were prioritizing all the drive thru customers who came way after me.

Also, they need to get their drink situation repaired. They said they didn’t have Gatorade punch, the lemonade strawberry squeeze AND the Baja blast freeze.

The food was still good. But because of the service this time, I’m dropping my review from 5 stars down to 4.“

“My husband and I went for dinner in restaurant and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, and the best part was that the chef Sergio sent us a dessert he had created that day. “I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

“Unbelievably good. The desserts are what they're known for; they used to have knockoff chipotle hot food but recently they changed the menu and everything is AMAZING. Very well made and a very creative menu. Whenever i go in it's not crowded, and it should be. Best mexican food in tinley, and nobody has ice cream and so many different other treats to go with the hot menu.“

“It is heartwarming to see a family working hard and earning a living. It is take out only. We had the steak burrito and it was tasty and the meat was in generous portions and it was nice and hot on a cold rainy day. The prices are the best.$9.55 for a steak burrito is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place. Honest and hardworking folk.“

-Tasty tacos and gorditas with proteins that are charred, spiced and cooked in the authentic Mexican tradition. The green sauce is particularly tasty. :)
-Great value for most selections.
-Card payments are accepted.

Cons:
-There are daily specials posted along the wall, but many of them contain typographical errors. The layout also apepars to be random, making it hard to follow.
-The burger special is, in my opinion, one of the few items on the menu that wasn't a particularly great deal. The burger itself is small, not particularly hearty; the meal is mostly just fries.
-The joint is cozy, so seating is limited.“
