“I wanted to give this location props for their lunch on 8/17. Walking in around 1pm, I could tell they had had their butts handed to them and were obviously understaffed. However, in my perspective they were handling the hangry customers very well, were staying calm and the staff that was present seemed to know what they were doing. The only reason for 4 stars is because and (this has happened more than once at this location) rather than suggesting I try my Pesto Cavatappi with pork, they tell me it comes with pork, which is not true. There is an additional charge for any meat on this bowl.“

“Great place with great service. Only issue they have is not enough parking and prices a bit on the high price (vegetable appetizer should not cost $20). Great atmosphere that follows original location. Staff always very attentive but sometimes a bit too much. Will definitely go there again.“

Mark Salmon enthusiastically and creatively arranged for my friend and I to dine outside (our request), despite the rain. “This Pizza place is sneaky good. Easy to miss as its in a strip mall that heads into a subdivision. Both the thin crust and pan slices are great. Crispy crust, flavorful cheese, and when you order toppings, they actually put enough on there! Sauce is slightly acidic but also very good. There lunch special of 2 slices and a drink is a great deal compared to other fast food joints these days. Note that this is a carry out place and there is no indoor seating, that why it got 4/5 stars for atmosphere. There is limited seating outside.“

The pizza is outstanding, I have tried three different pizzas with their classic crust. Very consistent with flavor, cook and quality of ingredients. The wings should not be overlooked as well. “Today was the first time I have ever Ben in a Portillo’s Restaurant, first time I have ever had an Italian beef sandwich. I have a Lotta friends in Fort Myers who go all the way to Tampa to get this sandwich and they continue to tell me how good it is. So this evening we decided to go to Portillo since I was visiting on my grandkids and my daughter and son-in-law, I really enjoyed that Italian beef sandwich. There are a lot of other good things on the menu, but that was what I was there for. Unfortunately, they do not have a Portillo’s Station FortnMyer Florida. I can only hope that one day they will build it there.“

“Foodstuffs is quite fabulous! From their soups to sandwiches to prepared foods, you can’t go wrong with everything fresh and delicious. And be sure to get their Courtney’s tuna salad - the best!!!

The Glencoe location is a bustling place and they have a wider variety than the Evanston location (which I also highly recommend).

And did I mention the desserts?! Lots of scrumptious options!

“Probably the best location in the chain I've ever gone to, and I've probably gone to 50 of them around the country. The staff here are always well dressed, polite, smart and they h-u-s-t-l-e. Everything just runs well and reeks of well-organized trained people. As a result, there are no long crazy lines here, even on busy weekends. I can think of some specific locations in Georgia and Colorado that could learn a lesson or two from this owner/operator.“
