“Well this is a very late review.. Froggy's catered for my wedding in 2016 and it was top notch. I was Soo happy to see them in business when many has perished. It shows the quality of the food and the team. We still talk about the food and THE CAKE and how delicious everything was. I believe the owner/ the person who was leading at the time was Thierry (Might be the wrong spelling) but if you are reading this , I hope you are doing healthy and happy. Wife, myself and the kids will stop by for some food and cake one of these days.

“We hired Pear Tree Hel's Kitchen to cater a brunch for our daughter's 1st birthday. They were professional, responsive, flexible re: our vegetarian menu. The food itself was also absolutely delicious. So many people at the party asked us where we got the catering from. Would absolutely recommend them do anyone! Laura was also incredibly helpful.“

“Great place! The Bagels, Salmon spread, tuna salad and egg white salad are just a few of my favorites here. Everything is amazing and fresh. Staff is friendly and service is fast! Sandwiches are made to order with all the right toppings. Would highly recommend them and they cater too!“

“OMG, this place is fantastic! We visited on our last day in/around Chicago, and we were SO impressed at how clean and neat this place is! The workers were working continuously wiping down EVERTYTHING- even the tops of the lights and the bottoms of the booths! The food was yummy and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Even talked to the owner as we checked out to compliment her! My only complaint is that it's so far from home!!! (Neenah, WI)!!!!!! ♡♡♡“

“What an awesome addition to the North Side! Beautiful place to have breakfast, delicious eggs with crème fraiche, chives, parmesan fluff, griddled country bread, we got our son the grilled cheese & I ate most of it. Great ambience, it has a very open feel. We would def come back, thank you 🙏“

The bagel board had a variety of bagels, multiple types of lox, several cream cheeses, and beautifully arranged vegetables. The cookie board was the talk of the brunch!! Highly recommend.“
“My daughter and I happened to be in Lake Forest on this beautiful morning, and she was craving some coffee. We did a quick Yelp search and Hometown Coffee was the top rated place.
My daughter ordered an iced Latte, and I ordered a Cafe Au Lait. My coffee was delicious and she said her Iced Latte might be the best she's ever had!!

We are a non-profit working on a budget and Kathleen worked diligently with us to come up with a tasty and filling menu & serving format that perfectly met our needs and enabled us to reasonably price tickets. With her years of experience in the business, Kathleen was able to find ways to trim the budget without sacrificing quality. Our event had a fabulous turnout and we're still getting compliments for those who attended re: the food and service.“

“I enjoyed the brisket and green beans; however, I didn't care for the Bama chicken. The restaurant was nice and clean. They offered several different bbq sauces, which was nice. The person who waited on us was efficient but not very friendly.“

“My third visit has cemented my opinion of Half & Half Pizza. The staff at every visit have been helpful, friendly and professional. The pizza is outstanding, I have tried three different pizzas with their classic crust. Very consistent with flavor, cook and quality of ingredients. The wings should not be overlooked as well. Excited for my next visit.“

“The star of the show was the brick chicken. The only thing shinning brighter was my gal! Shhh, don't tell the bird. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection last night. Impressive, as the kitchen was on overdrive, due to the Easter/Passover holiday. Every tender bite was surrounded by a perfect crispy skin. Even, the littlest of appetites will want more! Again, similar to a Peking duck in ( Chicago )China town! The portion is enough to split. It's was accompanied by delicately seasoned spinach. Thank you for a wonderful meal! Bravo to the chef last night!“

“I usually go to Lani‘s further deep dish pizza because I love the crust. This time I was going with my family and on a special diet and was thrilled to see they had a Christmas pizza. It was perfect and I didn't feel like I was cheating at all Because they use Italian sausage and low-fat mozzarella cheese so I was able to stay on the keto diet. I did miss the crust but didn't feel guilty about the pizza I had. If you're on a special diet or gluten-free, you must try crustless pizza.“

“This is a takeout and catering business in Highland Park. The fried chicken, cornbread, cole slaw and corn bread were all very good. The baked beans are the best baked beans I have ever had! They are to die for! Portions are extremely generous. They do good southern food right! Chef Kenny is amazing!“

“I met the owners when we were both doing appearances on a morning news show. I have lived in Evanston for over 30 years; and, shame on me, did not know about Soul & Smoke. I went there that afternoon and have been back 3 times! The herb roasted turkey dinner with all of the sides was phenomenal! I even got a beef brisket dunner for a friend who was celebrating Hanukkah. I am telling everyone about this! Look at the photos!“

“I go to the Deerfield farmers market every week and just stop here. I have had most of the kinds of pickles as well as the giardinera and must say the quality and love that goes into this food is next level. As i type this I am eating a piece of pizza with large amounts of the new “solar flare “ hot sauce and don’t think I can ever go back to the regular stuff. Thank you Chopping it up Llc and can’t wait to see what you come up with next week. Russ ( the beard guy )“
