“Man I have had some good food in my time. I have NEVER had a chicken sandwich like that before. I got the spicy honey butter fried chicken sandwich, which was not only the best chicken sandwich I have ever had but one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. And don’t even get me started on the seasoned fries. Just the smell alone was worth it but the flavor was unbelievable. Definitely worth the short wait and the drive. Will be eating here again.“

“In the past I was not really a Jerk food type of guy, but I love this place. The food was fresh and seasoned just like I like it. The overall atmosphere was great as well. Super clean sitting area with quiet music and television while you wait for your food. I've been there twice already, and will definitely be going back. It'll be one of my regular spots for lunch or dinner.“

“El Campeón offered delicious food! I especially enjoyed the vegan soy chorizo panbaso - a delicious twist on a classic dish. The mango colada was good, but the piña colada might be the better choice. The restaurant itself could have been cleaner (found a dead fly right in the center of a table). Despite this, the service was excellent.“

“Great cheesesteak. A nice change from the usual gyro, hotdog, or burger and open late for another option besides Portillos in the area. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the mood for a change like I was!! Would only recommend takeout though…inside is nice but the whole place smells like diesel fuel because of the fuel tanks under ground in the gas station lots surrounding Charley’s….only disappointing take away. I’d get a headache eating inside for sure.
Parking: Only a few spots so take out is a better option.“

“I recently visited Kong Dog at North Riverside Mall and had a fantastic experience thanks to Angelo, the cashier. He was incredibly helpful, recommending some of his favorite items, which made my selection much easier. I selected the Hot Cheeto Kong Dog this time, but I will definitely try the Churro Kong Dog the next time I visit the North Riverside mall.
His friendly demeanor and excellent customer service truly stood out. I appreciate the effort he put into ensuring I had a great visit. If you’re at the mall, I highly recommend stopping by Kong Dog and asking for Angelo!“

“The decor of this place is cute and inviting. The flaming stick corndog came with spicy mayo and hot Cheetos on top of it. The corndog was cooked to a crispy exterior with the batter being a mochi like texture. The flaming crunch fries came with spicy mayo and hot Cheetos on top of it. The fries were cooked to perfection. These two are great choices for spicy lovers. The sweet-p fries was sprinkled with brown sugar on top. It come with both orange and purple sweet potatoes. Would highly recommend trying this place out.“

“1st time at Portillos. Loved the atmosphere & the food….The fresh, juicy burgers, the hot dog, the fresh, perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries & oohhh the chocolate cake. You have to get the chocolate cake! Awesome friendly employees too. Great experience & great oldies music. We could see the prompt service at the drive thru with an employee outside taking orders.

“If you like Ducks back then you will like this place. Excellet tortas and Italian Beef plus Gyros too...They got fatter fries than skinny McDonald ones. They also have Horchatta both as a drink and slushy must try.

“At this location in Niles, my elderly lady friends, some time go there after prayer meeting on Wednesday Evenings, and just sit inside the restaurant talking, sometimes we don't order anything. But the whole work crew and managers are so sweet and polite with us. They never ask us to leave if we're not ordering food. Amazing, clean. Family restaurant ❤️“

“We have driven past this place many times. Al's Drive-in American and Chinese is such so random pairing. "Come as you are or eat in your car" is a strange slogan. This place did not disappoint; hot dogs, hamburgers, fried catfish on the American side. Fried rice and stir fry on the Chinese side. I found the fried catfish excellent. It has a cornmeal breading, and it was tender. The hot dog was boiled and has a natural casing. The stir fry was sauce was tasty but was a bit on the runny side. I would frequent this place if I lived near by. The only dinning choices are the picnic benches or the fore mentioned eating in your car.“

“Mickey's in Villa Park always delivers. Great flame broiled hamburgers, and a hot dog special that you just can't beat. They have an extensive menu and Grape Nehi! Nuff said. They have a great staff and the place is always clean with lots of parking. If you're looking for a quick and tasty Sloppy Joe on the go they have that too. Portillo's is for tourists. Mickey's is for the people!“

“I wish i could get a gallon of the sauce. sad that the portions of chicken have gotten smaller over the years, though! i remember when they first opened and the chicken tenders were massive. anyway, canes is addicting and i could eat it every day.
10/10 sauce, 9/10 bread, 8/10 chicken tenders, 7/10 fries. i don’t fw coleslaw, so i can’t give it a rating. lemonade was a bit bland.“
