“We went here for lunch on a Saturday, It wasn’t busy at all, but don’t let that fool you these people know how to cook Indian food. I am a big foodie and I can appreciate when it’s cooked right. Even the rice I can tell is cooked with filtered water. We had the Chicken, curry, and Paalak Paneer with vegetable samosas, everything including the sauce, the appetizers came with was excellent, including the Garlic naan. “One word: wow! Turmerica brings authentic flavors and dishes that are often missed at other restaurants. The Misal Pav is a must try! It tastes just like the ones I have had in India, and I appreciate that they serve additional spicy chili oil to increase the spice per your level. The pav was very soft and the portion size was just right! I was also very impressed with the Solkadhi, which I had never had before. It was so delicious that I could probably drink several of those at once! The last thing I tried was the Khasta Kachori. My husband and I both really enjoyed it as a snack! They serve it with the chutneys and yogurt on the side you can add it according to your taste! I will definitely be back to try their other dishes like pau bhaji, wadapav, mango or chikoo milkshake, and the specialty desserts! Btw, they serve Jain food as well!“

Their dal has a comforting, homely taste, and the thin chapatis are just perfect. The lamb and goat curry were both outstanding—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. “The Thrupthi Foods Store - snacks side restaurant (back of the store) makes so mouthwatering Tandoori! This is our all time favorite and best item for weekend. Chicken Puff and Veg puff are so fresh and delicious . Also, I love the Alu tiki .It is so delicious and yum.
It is rare to have fresh and healthy Indian food in Chicago , fortunately you can find here . It is my number one to-go place to grab a mouthwatering snack and go. Even the biriyanis are really good. Overall food is much better than nearby Indian restaurants.“

For many years in the early 1990’s I worked at Moti Mahal on Belmont for the Sikand family and while I have never found any Restaurants Chicken Makani as good as ours was when cooked by Chef Nano but Trilokah put a different spin on their version with a sauce probably not as sweet but while watching ones sugar that is good and this version had so much meat and I Loved That in an era currently where many restaurants try to cheat you on meat and add extra vegetables - I actually got a dish better than what I had hoped for! “We tried the Natukodi Curry with Paratha (weekend special) was delicious. Also had Mutton Fry, Paneer Biryani, and their Mirchi Bajji all fresh and tasty. Portions are good, regular size can easily serve two, they also have single if you are light eater. Staff is friendly and the food is great overall.

I would have given 5 stars, but sometimes the biryanis aren’t as fresh. If they were more consistent, this would definitely be a 5 star place“

“Food is fire. Tasted the same as the one in chicago. Obviously a place like this isn't known for their service or dining experience. You go for the food. Their paratha rolls were just like the chicago location. Maybe less spicy, but jut as flavorful. I even had an edit on my order that they got right (which you really cant expect at a place like this).

I wouldn't recommend to dine in, and you likely need to understand what you are ordering ahead of time so you dont buy something they dont specialize (some things are better than others thats how it goes)“
