“Wow! The holiday decor was on point ??The place is small, but popping. The drinks, food, and service were good. It was crowded, but somehow the staff kept making room for the next guests coming in. Our server was great. He made a mistake, but owned up to it, and we got to order something better! He was super busy ? We got the baked goat cheese and the beef sliders. “Hit Rooted Minooka and will definitely be going back. Started with The Flannel Sweater cocktail would definitely get again, my friend got the Big Red Wine flight. Scallops for app- the flavor profile was next level. Rarely have I had scallops in the Midwest that tasted this good. I got the Agnolotti which was heavenly and the flavors were fantastic. My friend got the NY strip and she was very happy with her meal as well. It is great to have a more elegant fare restaurant that is local. The atmosphere was quite inviting and I am looking forward to going back and having different items from their menu.“
“Went there for a surprise party for my wife. I’m a local guy with local friends and this place worked out perfectly. The management was on point and made us feel special. It was a beautiful ambience, soft music and we were able to enjoy conversation. It’s also an intimate experience. This is one of a kind in the area. “AMAZING onion rings with homemade ranch dressing! I had the Skyline breaded chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Prob one of the best I’ve ever had. Even the pickles were fantastic. My husband had the Nashville chicken sandwich and fries and was very happy. Our server was lovely. Checked on us often, but not excessively. We have been meaning to come here for a while, and now that we finally have we will be making it a point to come more often!The Qlamari were a delicious starter - very fresh and tender, with two delicious sauces. One was creamy green sauce, tasted like a spicy jalapeno coconut curry, the other was a sweet chili sauce.The entree's were a nice spin on traditional dishes. They had a good depth of flavor and had the traditional flavor while tasting elevated. I have never tried the fried rice noodles , I loved the crunch they added to the Lad Nar. The Pepper steak was delicious too.We are excited to try some more of our traditional thai favorites like drunken noodles, pad woon sen, etc the next time and see what kind of delicious spin they put on them!Also - at first I was surprised that they chose the strip mall on State as their location, but the interior is actually beautiful, cozy, and delightfully understated. “This place was arrive but it was worth it! Parking, not a problem! Ordered the breaded shrimp, they gave me 8 large size shrimp! More than most other places. You also get rice, garlic bread, fries,and salad. the salad was the greener outside leaves which I'm not big on, but everything else was good! Some thousand island dressing...I was stuffed! Everyone else in my party said their food was good as well! Prices were reasonable. Service did fine.“
“The adobo fried rice was so good I could honestly eat that as a meal. Our amazing server Luis recommended us to get extra pork belly next time and I couldn’t agree more. We also had the Lumpia (filipino pork egg rolls) & they were so good! They don’t have domestic spirits or beer but the drinks were great!“
