They sat us down right away.
The wait staff was very friendly.

“I always have a great time visiting this place! 😊 A big thank you to Carrie and Sue for their friendly and attentive service-they always make guests feel welcome. 👏 Special thanks to Freddy as well for the fun Sunday raffles and the amazing $1 taco deals during Bears games! 🌮🏈 The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, no matter what you order. One of my favorite things is their Friday night fish fry, which is absolutely worth trying. 🐟😋 If you're looking for great food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere, I definitely recommend stopping by! ⭐❤️“

“We decided to try this place for the first time and it turned out to be an amazing choice. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Every dish came out fresh and steaming, straight from the kitchen, which made the whole experience even better. You can really tell they care about serving quality meals. It was a fantastic visit and we are already looking forward to coming back again.“
“I had a chance to swing in last week and it's a nice, comfortable setting. The food was excellent if you are interested in Austrian/German bites. The people working here were super nice compared to similar tyes of places in the area. They even had a 50% off beer special going on! I will be returning for sure.“

The first time I went, I got the Ruben and a Guinness which was amazing and packed full of beef and layered with Swiss cheese and Sour Kraut. The second time I went and got the Buffalo Chicken Pizza which lived up to the bar set by the Ruben. I got another Guinness and a Basil Hayden and Basil Hayden Toasted both neat and with water backs. While enjoying my drink I had an amazing chat with the bartender, who is very knowledgeable about mixology.
Overall, the best place in all of northern Illinois to get a drink and food with family and friends.“

“Alley 64 has a great menu, a fun an accommodating staff! We had a semi-surprise party in their back room! They were so helpful, let us set up early, refrigerated a cake for us, had appetizers out super quick! There was probably about 40 of us and the bartenders/waiters were awesome… it was a huge success! Definitely think of Alley 64 for a group/party options!“

“Salsa 17 has always been one of our families favorite restaurants. They have delicious food, great service and a casual fun atmosphere. Yesterday they went above and beyond for us. We were hosting a large party at our home and reserved a food truck from another business. 5 minutes before our party started we received a call that the food truck was not able to show up. I called Salsa 17 and with no notice they were able to cater a fajita bar for 40 people in just over an hour. The manager I spoke to was accommodating and so kind. The food was outstanding and plentiful. I highly recommend Salsa 17 for both in person dining and catering!“

“This cute pub/restaurant offers a large variety of very affordable dishes which also include daily specials so be sure to ask your server for daily offerings.
I personally came here for food not alcoholic beverages and I brought my service dog with me on both visits.
First day I ordered their johnson bratwurst extremely delicious if you choose to add sauerkraut too and it comes with a choice of side so I got the seasoned curly fries and my Pyrenees gave it an enthusiastic 5 paws 🐾 up even though he only has 4 paws. The pub is very casual and an older group of men seem to be frequent customers here.
Yesterday my second visit I had my friend come here to and he also loved his order a very generous Bowl of chicken soup and a fish sandwich and I got the fish tacos with a small side of Spanish rice.
Everything is simple, inexpensive and tasty and very close to the Palatine Metra station in case you need to kill time before catching your train.
Servers here on both occasions are kept quite busy and are extremely friendly. A great place to relax with cheap eats.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great experience at Docks Bar & Grill. The service was excellent, the food was good, and everything came out fast. We also really enjoyed the conversations with the bartenders — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely engaging. I mentioned that I appreciated the TVs being on the same channel, because when multiple screens are on different channels, the flickering lights can be overwhelming for me. I’m disabled and live with Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) and CPTSD, along with chronic migraines. The sunglasses I wear help reduce light sensitivity from LEDs and neon lighting, and the staff was kind, open, and understanding when I explained this. It meant a lot to be treated with respect and curiosity rather than judgment. The bartender was friendly, approachable, and handled the conversation with warmth and professionalism. Great atmosphere, great people, and a place that makes you feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Amazing food quality. No seriously, amazing food quality guys! Put my drinks aside just to dig into the wings…. Has great vibe. Crowd is very well behaved, I feel so good sitting here right now. I have never reviewed a place on the spot but I couldn’t help myself because the food quality is awesome. Taste good, portion side good but the quality is just too good! 11/10 for this place I’m definitely coming back. I can only imagine the atmosphere on a weekend as I am awestruck on a Monday!“
