“My wife and I stopped in at the Lake Zurich location this past Saturday, 1/11. We definitely loved the beer and the establishment. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They also had a great wood fire pizza food truck. I highly recommend Phase 3. We will definitely stop back in..“

“This place is wonderful! It’s brand new and fun for hours! The 3 and under area is a great addition for the younger ones. The decor is pleasing to the eye and not decorated in bright harsh colors like most kids places! There’s plenty of seating options for adults too. The cafe has a lot of options as well. Re-entry is allowed so it was perfect to go take a little break and come back later. I highly recommend it!“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

The salsa was extremely spicy (still edible, but I prefer a more mild salsa, especially in a restaurant setting) and the chicken taco which claimed to be spicy, actually wasn't, which I thought was kind of strange. The pico de gallo on my fish taco was also very hot since it contained a lot of jalapeno. Out of the 3 tacos I got the mahi mahi was my favorite.“

The owner Ken O'Connor was extremely knowledgeable about wine, particularly Italian wines and also has some creative cocktails on the menu. “Amazing establishment. The workers were kind, talkative and friendly. They made great recommendations and everything I tried was amazing. I did enjoy the aesthetic and the stained glass, but the food was amazing. I would recommend the Braised Lamb, French onion soup, and sorbet. Can't wait to return. Wonderful wine/bourbon selection as well.“

“Just went last night and happy to say that it is finally improving after hitting a slump during the pandemic. The food has always been excellent but service is spotty. Last night, I would give a solid A- for service, and the food, an A+! Hope they keep the upward trend!“

“Just dined here for the first time! (A friend of mine who's a server at nearby Italian steakhouse, Lago, referred me to Eggshells, and told me to check out their corned beef!) His recommendation was spot-on! I had a great meal at Eggshells! Their menu's so big and full of great selections, I couldn't make up my mind, so I ordered the Irish Skillet (which of course had corned beef as its main ingredient) plus the Smoked Salmon Platter (note: this item doesn't come with a bagel, so I ordered an Everything Bagel too)! For drinks, I had coffee and orange juice. Everything tasted fresh and DELICIOUS! Plus, my server, Kaitilin, did a fantastic job with her fast, friendly and efficient service! I also liked how upbeat, welcoming and clean the restaurant looked! I'll definitely be coming back!!!“

“This review is mostly pertaining to the service. My mother and I walked in around 9:30 on Wednesday 9.18, the guy who was working the front (I wish I could remember his name) first offered to give us an extra salad dressing when we were being indecisive, he asked about any dessert before we were about to pay, and again being indecisive, said he would just throw it in. We were both in town because my Grandfather, my mom’s Dad, was admitted to the hospice center that morning a few miles down the road. It was such a teeny thing, but the sincerity of gesture, as well as an incredibly friendly demeanor, was given without knowing anything we were going through. Human interaction has so much power. Thank you.“
