This would have been a 5 star review had the crust been Neapolitan or had I just wanted a thin crust pizza. My issue is this is not Neapolitan pizza, even if it's very tasty pizza.“

“Hosted a small family and friends luncheon (31 people) with a set menu (Chicken Marsala). For five of the younger kids had the Kids Meal -- they loved the Kiddie Cocktails! We arrived 45 minutes early and the staff reacted toget things moving right away. Very accomodating! “Our favorite neighborhood “joint” for excellent Italian cuisine. First time trying the chop salad and was not disappointed, but if you are not a fan of olives, tell them to hold off. The only issue is it gets loud and you sometimes have to speak loud to be heard at your table. Otherwise enjoy!! Oh and by the way if you are hungry, order the chicken Parmesan - HUGE portion.“
“We booked the Calabria food truck to cater my brother’s engagement party with 80 guests and everything was perfect! We served three different sandwiches plus the homemade chips. The food was delicious. Many of our guests have told us they’ve visited Calabria since the party because they needed to have their sandwiches again! The truck brought a great ambiance to the party too - they played music, had nice lighting, and had a large chalkboard sign with a congrats message to the couple. Julia on the Calabria team was great to work with and answered all of our questions. The on-site team was attentive and had wonderful service. All around an amazing experience!“
“People ask me what I look forward to about coming home to Indiana and Italian beef sandwiches sit near the top of that list. I don't think people get it until they've tried one from northwest Indiana and Pepinos does it well! You can choose from Italian beef, Italian sausage or both. Your choice of cheese, mozzarella is standard. And then your choice of topping. I do giardiniera. Next time I might also try a side of red sauce. “I love aurelios, this one has a beautiful facade and interior. It's has a welcoming family feel and it's always a positive environment. The staff is friendly and like always their pizza is delicious. I'd highly recommend the lunch buffet it's a great price with salads, soups, and I think rotating dishes. When we went it was friend chicken, Italian beefs, and Alfredo pasta. Side note: the Italian beef here is surpringly good, definitely the best in the area worth it to go just for that.Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza, mushrooms, spinach, and of course plenty of salad and pasta options.Dietary restrictions: They're really good about getting their orders right, just mention while you order.“

Everytime we order, we always ask for them to not dip it and to put it on the side. Everytime they have dipped it, and my bread was soggy. That's a no go for me!! “I asked Google what was my nearest pizza place with good pizza, Rosati's came up as #1. I did not have high expectations because as a Chicagoan I noticed food places don't taste the same as in the city. The lady that took my order was very friendly and happy to take my order. I got extra pizza sauce the way I ordered, unlike some pizza places, they charge but don't give it. Rosati's made my pizza just the way we love it. The cheese was a little extra cooked because of the extra sauce, the crust was crispy NOT burnt. Yuuuuumy! The wings were very meaty, and saucy. The price doesn't and shouldn't matter if the food is so worth it. I wish the blue cheese dip was made from scratch but everything else was perfect! “Livio's is the charming neighborhood restaurant we need. My husband and I have always had enjoyable experiences with the very sweet waitresses and we always have a filling and affordable meal. The ambiance is "old school", and I think that's what makes it feel a little special when we go there for date night. His favorite is the special steak with the dipping butter, (even though he's a porterhouse guy, this steak is his go-to at Livios), and the dish I can't get enough of is the mushroom ravioli. Bread and salad to start with a generous meal has always left us pleased. Whether you're sitting on the bar side or in the dimly lit dining room, you'll be comfortable and probably have a great time!“
“I ordered a John's sausage pizza for pick up. The pizza was ready for me when I arrived. John's offers a unique pizza cut. The sausage was crumbly, spicy and generously topped on the pizza. The pizza crust was amazing.I grew up on John's pizza when I lived in the Calumet region. My family usually visited other locations....Hammond and Calumet City. It's probably been 15 years since I last had John's. I picked up the pizza pictured and it was the same quality as the pizza I grew up on. Munster's John's did not dissappoint. I would recommend John's to family and friends. I'll visit this location again the next time I'm in town. John's is a gem in the Calumet Region.“

We started with the Brushetta which was made beautifully, the olives are the staple of this appetizer. Main course we moved onto Prime - Rib Eye cooked medium (perfecto!) Mashed potatoes paired well Creamed spinach and had lemon miraigne cheesecake to finish off a delicious dinner! Pistachio chocolate mousse is a tasty too! Will be back again!“

“I came in for a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza last night for a byop(pizza) party. I wasn't expecting much because I was unfamiliar with the area. I wasn't sure where the front was or where exactly to park but in the parking lot there was an area for pick up. So I parked there. When I walked in I got excited because it looked like a bar due to the lighting and full out bar stand. I thought I could get a drink and watch the game while I waited but the bar was definitely closed. Like they definitely don't serve alcohol there. The screens were nice to watch the football game on. There is a little service counter in the back and all of the staff were so excited and fun. My pizza was the star of the party. Everyone that had mine said it was their favorite. The pizza wasn't greasy. Or too meaty. The medium I ordered was enough for everyone and I don't believe I spend a full $20. Everyone who was familiar with the area said it tasted like Coaches Corner's pizza and later confirmed that that is where the sports bar was before it rebranded as a full blown pizza place. I'm not mad at it.“
