“The food! OMG The Food!
I was out visiting a friend and discovered this place. When I walked in and saw the hot (spicy) vegetables I wanted to start eating them while waiting on my to go order. When I opened up that container I felt like I struck gold! The food was delicious and the onion bulb was a great touch. A real portion of food. I definitely got my moneys worth. I live 30 minutes away and will be driving over there when I want a taste of Mexico.

“This place has amazing tacos de carnitas !!!! The meat was so tender and juicy. No fat on the tacos I had. It’s a 20 min drive from my house in Gary but man it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend. I had 2 tacos de carnitas 1 asada 1 apastor and 1 large agua de Jamaica. Total was $18“

“Just had their steak (carne asada) tacos! Absolutely fantastic! The green salsa is on point! Very generous on the size of their tacos. I'm extremely picky when it comes to getting tacos in fact I only like my tacos from one or two taco places in all of Chicago. This is my first time coming here and this spot just got added to my small list. I will most definitely stop by this place whenever I'm around this area. Thank you for the great food! “We ended up at this place by chance with 6 of us, ranging from teens to a grandma. All of us loved it. The tacos were really delicious. Grandma felt that the guacamole was too salty so the owner came out and apologized, made her a fresh batch to her liking AND removed it from the bill. Both food and service were top notch. The atmosphere was super fun and lively too.“

“I love supporting family owned businesses. Love that this is an option in the area late nights as there’s not many food options nearby. The chicken quesadilla is my favorite and I love how juicy it is!

“I got the taco dinner and the nacho fries. First, the size of the taco dinner is actually really good for the price. I got double rice and no beans because I’m not a fan of refried beans. The nacho fries were HEFTY. I picked up the container and HOLY MOLY! It was A LOT of food! Definitely a great price! Will be ordering again!“

“Best Jerk Chicken I've had, the food is beyond amazing and delicious and their customer service is excellent. Someone greets you when you come in to order or pick up your food. Everything from the Jerk chicken , Jerk chicken Alfredo and all the side dishes are delicious. “This place tacos are little but they are good. The wait time is disgustingly looooonnggg I went through the drive through and I was waiting 25 minutes just for two tacos. People started to pull off. The lady at the window was nasty. No customers service skills what so ever. She wants me to tap my card after waiting dang near 30 mins in the drive through line without confirming my order to me. These bite size tacos isn’t worth it.“

“I love this place. They have multiple locations; I used to live just a couple miles from the Dyer spot, but since I've moved an hour away, I still come back a couple times a year for the food, and it's the same no matter which location you visit.
I highly recommend the chicken quesadillas with a side of rice (my favorite!) or the steak sopes. Truly exceptional Mexican fare for a very reasonable price!“
