“The guy that answered the phone and took my order could have sounded like he was interested or at least a little bit friendly. Other than that I do have to say they're sweet and sour chicken is probably the best around. They're fried rice is also delicious. It's been a while since I was there so when I go back I'll update on the next dish that I get. All in all it's definitely good food.“

My family was out and I was on my own recovering from a surgery and felt like treating myself so I figured “ let’s get a bit fancy and order PF Chang”. What a huge mistake that was. The beef with Broccoli had les than 2 oz of beef for $30. I have included a comparison between Hunan Palace’s beef with vegetables vs what I received from PF. Hunan Palace blows PF away! Additional I have had very good luck requesting modifications, I like extra spicy and extra sauce, Human honored my request while PF did not. I think the pics tell all“

“First time and we will definitely be back! Everything was delicious. Starting veggie spring rolls. 2nd pan fried pork pot stickers. Small pork fried rice, and lastly Beef and pea pods. All cooked perfectly. Had enough food for 2 dinners for both of us! Reasonably priced too.“

“Our order was ready 10 minutes early so we were glad we came early. There was one table of diners in a relatively nondescript dining room but lots of carry out orders. Our egg rolls were tasty but without the traditional Chinese fried outside. These were pretty greasy but had more meat than vegetables which was a pleasant surprise. They came only with a Chile sweet sauce and it added to the taste. Our potstickers were just ok and had a slightly gooey exterior. \nOur main courses included Mongolian beef which was much higher quality beef than most places offer. Nice flavor and sauce. Our noodle dish with chicken was also flavorful as were the moo shu chicken ingredients. \nPrices were on the high side but the portions were generous and the quality deserved it. I live downtown and have visited his restaurants in Chinatown and Michigan Ave. The food is exception each and every time I go to either location. When the "coming soon" sign popped up in Highland Park, I could not have been more thrilled, considering the food at our local chinese restaurants refuse to raise the bar on their food. There is no better Szechuan restaurant in the Chicago area or beyond. The food, the staff, and the service are all exceptional and executed with perfection and passion. I forgot that there were peanut pieces/crumbs on it as a topping included and it came as a surprise and the boss lady was soooo sweet and kind. she was so eager and genuine, and instantly made a worried expression and offered to remake it. me and my friend ordered 2 noodle dishes, and it took like 15 minutes or so to wait. “My experience was both positive and negative. The food was pricey but well worth it since you can get 2 or 3 meals out of it. My wife's sesame chicken had an abundance or sweet and sour sauce. Too much for her taste. My shrimp eggs foo young was great along with the egg rolls. My pickup experience was terrible. The sign says "ring the bell"to notify them you're there. After 3 rings and 5 minutes with no response I called them to let them know I was there. They finally came out, no apology just pushed the order thru the plastic and sign the receipt. Not even a thank you. I trust this rudeness was just the result of a bad day and not par for the course.“

“Aimos was our server for the evening. He was very intentive and quick to bring out a food and proper order. I hate receiving the appetizer and the entree at the same time, very pleased that didn't happen. The food came out within about 10 minutes and we had 3 entrees and it was so hot and fresh. Aimos was on top of refills and checking in on us accommodating accordingly. Very pleasant and relaxing visit. Will definitely come back. I got the Orange Chicken with white rice. Yay. Shumai is my fav hands down so of course I had to try it—I think it’s lacking some ginger and sesame oil. Theirs is good though, not great like MingHin in Rolling Meadows. The shrimp dumpling was pretty good. Other things ordered was a tofu dish, general tso chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice and fried shrimp roll. Everything was pretty decent.
