I was a general manager of restaurants for 21 years and this was exceptional customer service when a lot of places would have just taken my money. “I tracked my order and it stayed on "we are baking your order". It never alerted me it was done, so I went in at the end of the estimated pick up time and it was ready. But it was now, not fresh and hot like I like it. I order from time to time and this was the first time I was not happy with my pizza.“

We moved down to FL 7 years ago so it’s been awhile since we have been able to eat here. We bought another tray of lasagna this weekend for a party. Let me tell you…it was so delicious! We are still hearing people rave about it and hope it brings new customers your way. Your GF ravioli was awesome as well. Great food, wonderful customer service, cute restaurant. “We ordered the chicken parmesan pizza with only half giardiniera. Holy cow. A wonderful and unique pizza experience. The waitress was very accommodating and friendly. Some of the crust was amazingly thin, leaving more room for more flavor to come through. I only docked a star because I personally don't like gambling machines. We will definitely be returning here“

“We received their flyer in the mail showcasing some great-looking pizzas, pub staples, and tacos de harina. We’d never heard of Cansino’s before, but figured we’d give it a shot. Man, am I glad we did — because they’ve quickly become one of our local favorites! For years, Lou Malnati's held the crown for our favorite Chicago-style deep dish, but Cansino’s has officially taken the top spot. Their cheese blend is unbelievably creamy, stretchy, and flavorful. It’s their own house blend of California cheeses, and it reminds us of the rich, melty Wisconsin brick used in Detroit-style pies — maybe a touch creamier and a bit less salty. The sauce is hearty and well-balanced, loaded with herbs and neither too sweet nor too tart. The crust has just the right firmness and flavor, and their sausage is leaner than Lou’s but packs a bold fennel kick. We still enjoy other deep dish places, but when a craving hits, Cansino’s is our first call. We’re picky about onion rings, but Cansino’s nails it: crispy seasoned breading, and tender perfectly cooked rings of onion. The fries are also really solid, and their fried mushrooms were an unexpected hit. I’ve tried a couple of their tortas too — all were tasty, with well-seasoned beef, flavorful beans, and nicely grilled fajita-style veggies. The bread held up great. I’ve got my eye on their paninos in the near-future. The staff is super friendly and always ready with a great suggestion or two. The place is clean, bright, and well kept. Prices are fair for the area, everything we’ve ordered has been ready on time, and there's plenty of parking right in front. Their entrance is easy to access, and they’re located right across the street from the Fort Sheridan Metra Station — which makes them a perfect stop before or after a commute. Looks like their breakfast would be perfect before a train ride! We’ll definitely keep exploring more of the menu and will update with more photos as we go.“

This is the very best Jet’s location I have ever tried, and I’ve had many. Ingredients are the same at all locations, but the way they prepare it is done to perfection! Perfect crust crunchiness, cheese and sauce portion and freshness are excellent. Fabulous pizza!

“Our group of 8 planned a mtg at Lou's at 6pm. The general dining room was very, very noisy! Upon inquiring if there was a quieter space; the Manager, Dion, went Above & Beyond to move us to a private area. Fortunately it was available. Yet, it was all because of Dion that this happened! He even helped carry our waters, drinks, etc. He made certain we were happily situated in this new space. His attitude (on a very busy night at Lou's) was fantastic!!!! Kudos to Dion!! “We were in town for a convention and staying at a hotel. We decided to order a pizza our last night there. We chose Joe's at random, and we were not disappointed. Our order was delivered promptly by a very nice, and courteous person. The pizza we ordered was delicious. We loved everything about it -the thin crust, delicious sauce (not too much), and generous amount of cheese. I especially liked that the toppings were under the cheese, and there were herbs!! “Great place for groups and our server, Zaire, was simply excellent! A large menu with large portions. We had a wide variety of dietary preferences in our group - basically a bunch of picky eaters in different ways - and everyone found something they were happy with. Good find for Navy folks and their families/friends!“

“This is solely a takeout place. Their Detroit Style BBQ chicken pizza is great, everything else is okay. Wings are good, not great. You can order through text and get some discount.

The last time I ordered from there, I saw that they charge 3.5% fee for using a credit card. Solely for that reason, I am not going there again. I don't like to be nickel and dimed by restaurants like this.“

“We held a family funeral lunch at Lino’s. The staff was welcoming, attentive and very friendly as they took care of our party, which filled their banquet room. We had a couple of chicken dishes, a couple of vegetable dishes, a garden salad, potatoes, and cannoli for dessert. Our guests raved about the food, which was delicious and hot! We could not be more enthusiastic in our recommendation of Lino‘s!“

“I am a Chicago native now living in Colorado. While visiting, I needed to find a place that offered both deep dish pizza for my husband and gluten free pizza for me. This was a great choice. My husband was able to order deep dish by the slice and said it was delicious. My GF pizza was yummy with sausage and onion. I don't know what makes Chicago onions on pizza unique, but they just aren't the same anywhere else. The price was reasonable, and the tables outside in the shade were lovely.“

“We sort of fell upon Joanie's when we went to the Strawberry Festival in Long Grove and it was the star attraction for all of us!!! My husband and I had the most delicious salad that we completely devoured in record time along with that mouthwatering cheesy pizza that we ordered along with it!!! My Mom and Aunt ordered the chicken and Mom commented...."Now that's the way chicken is supposed to be made!!!" They were served a large tray with 4 LARGE pieces of chicken, potatoes, and long buns!!! They took half of it home and had it for dinner tonight!!! But the piece de resistance was the hot homemade strawberry rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream that seriously 4 of us shared!!!! Wow!!! What a treat!!! Oh... and....Our meals were served Hot....not cold....HOT...out of the oven.....again, the way a meal should be served! HOT!!! ha ha ha...The ambience was fun and the view of the water from our vantage point was just breathtaking!!! Our server Derrick was such a nice young man! He was professional, made certain that we were ok, and went back and forth many times for those extra things that we needed for our meal!!! I'm certain that it was very hectic for all of the servers during the fest, but they handled the crowds so well!!! Again, we were just thrilled to have stumbled on Joanie's!!! It's worth going back for seconds, thirds, fourths....etc....ha ha ha“

“Great place to hang out in the summer. Outdoor bar, pool, volleyball. It’s a good time. Their chicken tenders appetizer is the best and no one can top their biscuits and gravy. I’m craving it just typing this. Servers are so friendly and nice.“

“This Pizza place is sneaky good. Easy to miss as its in a strip mall that heads into a subdivision. Both the thin crust and pan slices are great. Crispy crust, flavorful cheese, and when you order toppings, they actually put enough on there! Sauce is slightly acidic but also very good. There lunch special of 2 slices and a drink is a great deal compared to other fast food joints these days. Note that this is a carry out place and there is no indoor seating, that why it got 4/5 stars for atmosphere. There is limited seating outside.“

“We were so happy to find that Little Joey's was still here after we moved away from the area for 14yrs! We started getting pizza from Little Joey's when they first opened - our son Joey was 5 or 6 at the time, so it was perfect! Now, their pizza quality has remained very good! We love their Chicago style deep dish, simple pepperoni or sausage, or even getting a spinach and garlic pizza is nice. Most of the time we get a Greek salad to go along with the pizza.
