“Great bottle shop with a bar that's conveniently located in a strip mall near 355 and down the street from the downtown area. Excellent draft selection and cocktails, you will always find something that you like.Stopped in to celebrate 2 years of being open! Sleepy Bear was delicious.“
“Gluten free waffles and pancakes ARE available and an absolute revelation! Hallelujah! The blueberry lemon cheesecake waffles were INSANE, no maple syrup needed.Claudia was a great hostess and server. Even when she is busy she's attentive and kind.Great Julius Meinl coffee ☕?My only note, and the only ⭐ I withheld, would be that our steak skillet had barely any meat in it and was mostly large chunks of potatoes and cheese (fine, but we're here for the full melange). If we're going to do hunks of potato, I personally prefer a small to medium dice, but hash browns are my top. Skillets are a staple and will be what brings people in over and over so that they can have the filling savory meal while they share your delicious waffles. Of course my experience is mine alone.Menu images for everyone to enjoy their amazing offerings!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free available!!“
“I lived in downtown Lemont for a while and watched Barrel & Vine being built. I've been going since they had a soft open. I absolutely LOVE their chimichurri fries, you need to try them. I now live out of state but stop in for dinner or lunch to meet up with family and friends when I'm in town. Everything I've had is delicious. Pub burger, charcuterie board, jambalaya, fries, short rib bolognese, and finally.. the salted caramel cookie skillet. Don't skip out on the crafted cocktails or dessert. If you haven't tried Barrel &Vine yet, you should. Don't miss out.Parking: Because the restaurant is located downtown, the parking is a little difficult on weekends. There is street parking, and a lot across the street. A block or two away is a free parking garage.“
“Sat down to relax and drink a delicious draft beer, proceeded to drop my cell phone and when I went to retrieve it found a SPOTLESS floor! I'm talking pristine! You could eat off this floor! Just another great feature if this already wonderful place.“
“We came in on Valentines Day.and were floored by the service and martinis/wine/old fashion. The Martinis were above and beyond what you could find anywhere. The staff as a whole was attentive and treated us like family/regulars. I am very critical, too much, and we will be back here for sure. Thank you to the staff and libations!!!“
“As always, enjoy the atmosphere, food and drinks. This is one our top favs of places to go. Especially love the flexible menu for different times of the year or holidays. Keeps things fresh and exciting. Look forward to be back and have an Old fashioned from Rue. ?“
“Our wedding was made even more memorable thanks to the incredible catering provided by Wooden Paddle. From the first bite to the last, their pizzas were a culinary delight, leaving our guests raving about the flavors and quality. Not only were the pizzas delicious, but the service was exceptional—prompt, professional, and attentive to every detail. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they effortlessly catered to our diverse dietary needs and preferences. With their rustic wood-fired oven and fresh, high-quality ingredients, charcuterie grazing table, and artsy drinks they brought the flavor to our special day. If you're looking to add a unique and delicious touch to your wedding, look no further than Wooden Paddle. They truly deserve every one of these five stars!“
“What a great addition to Lemont! We have been meaning to come here for a while, and now that we finally have we will be making it a point to come more often! The Qlamari were a delicious starter - very fresh and tender, with two delicious sauces. One was creamy green sauce, tasted like a spicy jalapeno coconut curry, the other was a sweet chili sauce. The entree's were a nice spin on traditional dishes. They had a good depth of flavor and had the traditional flavor while tasting elevated. I have never tried the fried rice noodles , I loved the crunch they added to the Lad Nar. The Pepper steak was delicious too.We are excited to try some more of our traditional thai favorites like drunken noodles, pad woon sen, etc the next time and see what kind of delicious spin they put on them! Also - at first I was surprised that they chose the strip mall on State as their location, but the interior is actually beautiful, cozy, and delightfully understated. I also appreciate that I didn't have to search for parking and I could easily order takeout here as well. Make this your next meal out - you won't be disappointed!!“
“I did like the hotel. Very nice lobby and nice and helpful staff. Very close to shopping and restaurants. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed was very hard. If you like firm and hard bed then this place will work for you! We did not stay for breakfast but it is available. They pointed out a pool and jacuzzi but didn’t use that either.“
“Loads of options on an attractive menu. Restaurant has a fun vibe with great tiles and flowers hanging from the bar. We went with another couple and ordered drinks that were all well done – we love the chips and homemade roasted tomato salsa that they brought to our table. We then shared the guacamole which was a generous serving and very fresh, I had ceviche with shrimp that was a generous mound served with avocados on top and it was delicious. The service – although they were trying really hard – was slow and very spotty. We ordered drinks and only three of the drinks came and about 10 minutes later the fourth drink came. All our meals came together except for my husbands which came about 15 minutes later, which didn’t make for a smooth me out together. The portions were generous, and the food was fresh, and I would definitely go back. For a family place, the music was blaring and unnecessary, there are a few areas that they could improve on but the reason we went was the food and it was fantastic.Parking: Loads of parking around the building at st the strip shopping center.“
“Well, I recently gave a review of the new Craft'd location in Yorkville and said that they both had the same quality food. I decided to go back to the Plainfield location and... Once again I love their food!!! Both locations are great to go to. Their 2 foot Philly is 1 large lunch even for 2 people!“
“This was our second visit here in less than a few months. It is a gem for downtown Joliet. I would love to see more fine diners like this in the Joliet area. Our waitress was so attentive and nice. I love the music which is just at the right level where you can have a conversation without screaming. A very nice place where you can sit and relax with family and friends while enjoying great food and fine spirits.“
“Wow! The holiday decor was on point ??The place is small, but popping. The drinks, food, and service were good. It was crowded, but somehow the staff kept making room for the next guests coming in. Our server was great. He made a mistake, but owned up to it, and we got to order something better! He was super busy ? We got the baked goat cheese and the beef sliders. The sliders are big and come in 3! If you are looking for a quaint, quiet, wine bar don’t come here! If you’re looking for a fun, loud, cozy, wine bar come here! ? ? I only got pics of the decor ?“
“Great decor. Has a nice wow factor giant fish and huge Nice inviting place accommodates bigger party's. Staff was attentive we had no problem ordering additional drinks or getting our waitress attention. Her name is Lety and she was great. Make sure you tip her well. Now for the food..If you love crab legs this place is for you! Started with complementary ceviche, great texture very fresh, ended up ordering a plate for an entree. Shrimp diablo came with a pile of shrimp. The Diablo sauce had a nice very subtle heat you can a-just it to spicy if preferred. Crab legs for the win It's a seafood restaurant. The price is NOT astronomical it's not "to expensive " don't listen to the other reviews same people who spend the same money at Red Lobster and think it's great. I had a pile of quality fat juicy crab legs for $45. Totally worth it. This is not "fast food crab boil" it's real quality dishes.“
“Great Mushroom Burrito! Love the atmosphere and the staff. Really nice in the summer, sitting outside.Vegetarian options: Taco's and Burrito can be ordered with mushroom filling; delicious.Parking: You can park in the street, right in front of the restaurant, or behind it in the garage.“
“Love this place. The drinks are delicious and the live music is a great addition. I enjoyed my time at this small bar.I recommend the Smoked Maple Bacon Old Fashion and the Pomegranate Holiday Mule.Parking: There is street parking and a large parking lotbehind the Embers bar... across from the train tracks.“
